Its a funny thing to say that ENIC haven’t spent a penny of their own money and have only used Spurs’ money.

Who owns Spurs? So whose money is it?

After the sacking of Poch. Where do you stand on ENIC as our majority owners?
They don't always get it right but the club is massively different from 20 years ago and I'm not ashamed that they are the club's owners. In this modern age of clubs being funded by nations with questionable policies, we're doing ok.

It's amazing how (according to some) Levy managed to buy all that land, including the training ground estate, build the training ground itself (state of the art), the club offices (including college, not sure that's matched anywhere), and stadium (state of the art) whilst wiping off all of our non-stadium build debt and all while investing no money in the club.

If you don't credit him for 'not investing' (let's be honest, can't be possible) then credit him for doing what we've managed to become with 'no investment'.

It makes me well up with pride to discuss these epic, state of the art property development deals, Liverpool and their fans must be so jealous of our college and club offices. I wonder how long we're going to have to wait for a state of the art team though.

That said, for the price ENIC want it would probably just be some Americans wanting to skim off the Premier League money train so better the devil you know I guess.

what do you think you sit in every week?

The player investment will go up as the turnover increases - simple economics

We will wait and see

agree - I’m not pro Levy btw and see my posts.

But - bringing in Mourinho on the huge salary IS ambition success or not.

I honestly think we will spend sensible amounts.

Dont expect City but then they are owned by a state and not self funding

This is last chance saloon for me. If we don’t win trophies under Mourinho, then we never will under ENIC.
At that stage it would be time for us to try and rid ourselves of the least successful chairman in the clubs history.

Absolutely no recognition from Levy that his lack of investment might have contributed to the team’s poor results.

As usual all the blame goes to the Manager.

Can Levy manage Mourinho? I doubt it will last 2 seasons. Enic don’t spend the money needed to win things.

There is a flaw in our club since Enic took over and it’s not the Manager.

ENIC will want close to £2bn to sell up, so this rules out 99.99% of any potential buyers. City and Chelsea were sold for peanuts in comparison.

Firstly, you can't pay Liverpool wages with White Hart Lane stadiums. They're struggling with an ageing Anfield. We needed to build off the pitch first.

Secondly, they are massively behind in their facilities, so they need to address that soon.

You're completely ignoring the fact that they've been crap for more then half of the last 8 seasons or so.

This is where your black and white argument falls down. We have improved on and off the pitch since ENIC took over.

I can understand people thinking we could be doing even better or more funds need to be available to the first team squad but making out things are terrible under ENIC makes posts look one sided nonsense rather than adults weighing up a situation in a balanced, fair way.
