19 years
10 managers
1 trophy

To Dare Is To Do
Slightly disingenuous, you can’t really say Pleat, Sherwood, Allen etc were our managers, they held the fort till the right person was identified. Graham... not hired by Enic.

Permanent managers hired by Enic:

Hoddle
Santini
Jol
Ramos
Redknapp
AVB
Pochettino

Of those, Pochettino and Redknapp oversaw 9 years between them, so almost half Enic’s tenure. Hoddle and Jol another 5.5 years. So, of 19 seasons, 4 managers oversaw 14.5 years, 2.5 years have been overseen by quick failures, and 2 roughly by caretakers/ someone Enic inherited. When you look at it like that, overall the managerial appointments have been better than at most clubs, but you must know this as it’s clearly backed up by our continuous rise up the league since Enic took over.

Out. Business ahead of success on the pitch for them but they are an investment company after all so no surprise there. Imo, they'd bite your hand off for a guaranteed top 4 place for the next 10 seasons with low net spend in exchange for no silverware.

Pay your chairman more than any player brilliant idea. I do not see how anyone can defend Levy/Enic they are a cancer on the club who I have on good authority refer to the fans as scum and plebs get people’s support.
Levy doesn't make more than any player.

And I just defended Levy/ENIC in my post. What part of what I wrote about all the great things ENIC has built do you disagree with?

Yes they've bult a wonderful stadium and brilliant training facilities, but that was all financed by the club, ENIC haven't put their hands in their pockets.

I do think it’s time for different ownership, not necessarily a change in chairman though - I think Levy is still one of the best in the league, even now.

i think now we’ve tasted success, have a world class stadium and a great brand, we need owners who will invest to win rather than invest into a portfolio.

Love how our club is run and what he has done for Spurs, but time now to move on and upwards.

It’s pointless putting the best car driver in the world in a Ford, when the rest are in Ferrari’s and expect to win.

No, levy needs to go along with everyone else in ENIC. He's not a football man, he's a businessman and there have been too many instances that he's caused us in situations over the years that have outweighed the positive things he's done. As long as Levy stays connected to this club we will never reach our full potential, and that includes whoever he brings in as a manager tomorrow or when he sacks that one for the next

No need for them to go. We’re a stable club that is well run and has been on a constant trajectory upwards under there tenure. We now have everything in place to make the next step.

Of course they could have done certain things better but that is true of any manager, player, chairman etc in the world.

Our own reactions are probably not the best to look at when it comes to Levy and Enic. Ask most fans of other clubs what they think of spurs (aside from usual Empty trophy cabinet jokes l) and it is one of relative success and a wish that there own club had that stability and investment in the club that ours do, whilst doing it the right way.
We were the same stock as Everton, West Ham, Villa, Newcastle etc big football clubs with history who have bounced between division or mid table obscurity. We’re not that.

Compare ENIC to FSG.

Liverpool's owners have invested their own money into the club.

It's amazing how (according to some) Levy managed to buy all that land, including the training ground estate, build the training ground itself (state of the art), the club offices (including college, not sure that's matched anywhere), and stadium (state of the art) whilst wiping off all of our non-stadium build debt and all while investing no money in the club.

If you don't credit him for 'not investing' (let's be honest, can't be possible) then credit him for doing what we've managed to become with 'no investment'.

IIIINNNNNNNNNNNN

Everyond knows I‘m not pro Levy, I’m Pro Spurs.

BUT - with the stadium and infrastructure in place (which is amazing) let’s get behind him and the club.

Like I’ve said, the easy decision was to keep Poch to end of season - less cash, less ’risk’ and it’s only the ST holders who paid their money who lose out right ?

But he has put FOOTBALL and the club first - he is paying Mourinho £15m A YEAR - right or wrong, that is AMBITION.

Well done DL and good luck to our son Poch

And if it goes wrong, it’s NOT down for Levy - it’s down to the bloke getting paid the 2nd most in WORLD football.
