No way, they definitely want to prioritise the league and champions league over the cup competitions
They would likely be resting some of their players for Southampton at home even if they didn’t have a game 3/4 days later. They’ll prioritise Bournemouth away over the EFL Cup game but I think people are dreaming if they think Pep is going to pick a stronger team vs Southampton at home than he does for any game at our place.

Wow, how on earth was that disallowed that was a great goal, defender just wasn’t strong enough!
I'd imagine because his arm goes up across his face to give him the leverage is the answer.

City’s 2 fixtures either side of our cup tie are against Soton and Bournemouth. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if he rests his big hitters for one of those games instead of our game.
Not sure. If Rodri hadn't got injured perhaps, but they need to find solutions for that rather than be thinking about resting players.

According the Spurs app the City game is on Tuesday 29th. Two days after we play Crystal Palace away.

Confirmed Wednesday night. But 8.15 kick off. Late night if it goes to pens.
Sky must be doing staggered kick offs so the armchair fan can watch a bit of multiple games.

Hoping we will be joined by a single non Premier league team in the quarter finals by the end of the night.

I thought Palace were shit? Relegation fodder - presumably Villa put out a kids side?
