So as the title suggests - just putting this here to see what everyone thinks of the players season, and their player of the season.

Vicario - 7 started fantastic, has dropped off like everyone, but still
Some massive saves.

pedro porro - 7 great going forward, has improved his defensive abilities, but still suspect at times.

Romero - 8 along side Mickey, one of our best players all year, if he can cut out the rashness, he’s one of the best defenders in the world.

VDV - 9 POTS for me, has slotted in seamlessly, aside from Newcastle game I don’t remember him having a bad game.

Udogie - 7 started like an house on fire, dropped off a bit, but put that down to team form and his age. Have a right player on our hands.

Bissouma - 5 - flashes of his old self, but so underwhelming for me.

Sarr - 6/7 - can’t decide between a 6 or 7. Been good, great in flashes, but also inconsistent.

Maddison - 5 - great pre injury, hasn’t been himself since and seems to hide away form ball at times.

Kulu - 4 - so frustrating to watch, needs to shoot more and stop overplaying, needs to find last seasons form.

BJ - 5/6 - 1st season and young etc, has showed some glimpses of real talent, hoping after a full pre season, we see the forest version.

Sonny - 4 - very poor season by his standards, city miss summed up his season, like madders seems to hide when going gets tough.

Richy - 5 - hard to judge, due to injuries and not playing - but looked good in flashes.

Bentacur - 5/6 - same as richy, with a bit less form?

Timo - 4 - don’t think he’s good enough, but has scored a couple important goals.

Dragusin - na - not been used enough. Looked okay against city.

Everyone else I don’t think is worth mentioning as I don’t think they’re good enough or played enough. ( maybe forgotten someone)

Vicario - been great but he seems to have a weakness on set plays and crosses that opponents have sussed (with huge help from the refs). In the summer I hope they work on his physicality so he will just starting pushing people off. Been a great first season though.

Porro - hands up I got it wrong. I didn't think he would ever be this good as a full back. He is exceptional and his recovery pace is really helpful.

Romero - our best player I think. He has become a leader and the heart of our team. Love him.

VDV - Next time you're listening to a pod or on X and all these tactics nerds are scouting players from the German second division remember Micky as they all didn't rate him that highly . He has been absolutely brilliant.

Udogie - another amazing buy. He has come to a new country , with a new team and played in a new position and absolutely smashed it.

Bissouma - started off playing like a world class midfielder but his form since has been worrying. I don't like him as our 6 as his defensive recovery isn't good enough but still a great footballer I want to keep around.

Sarr- what a boy. Frustrating at times but considering his age he is brilliant. One of the reasons I don't know why we would spend fortunes on Gallagher is that he will play where Sarr does and hinder his progress.

Maddison- a proper Tottenham player when on form. I know he has been hurt by injuries and then lost his form but I love watching him play. Probably needs some completion.

Son- Mr Tottenham. Yes he is frustrating at times but he is still class. If Romero is the heart of the team, son is the heart of the club. You can see how everyone loves him. He probably deserves more respect than he gets

Richarlison- I really like him. If he could stay fit he would be huge but he never can to get that consistent run of games. Either way he has proven a lot of people wrong this year.

Kulusevski - been a poor year. He is frustrating, so talented but seems to struggle with form too often. We wont but sometimes I wonder if he should be loaned out to learn how to play in central midfield (as in play there week in, week out all season). He is a good asset for us either way but has to work on consistentcy.

Others -
Emerson - a good player but not suited to his current role. When he leaves in the summer I'm sure many will use it as a stick to beat us with as he will look good as a traditional full back.
Dragusin - promising start
Davies - love him, so under appreciated.
Holjberg - really helped this season and been a great pro but like Emerson isn't suited.
Bentancour - needs time to get his fitness back.
Lo celso- looked ok in cameos but clearly leaving.
Johnson - he has been superb considering all the stick he gets. By no means the finished product but his stats speak for themselves.
Solomon - I still have no idea if he is good enough. Hate the abuse he gets though.
Werner- I really like him. Seems like a great guy and a good player but I'm not sure we need another player who wants to run away from the ball.

Player of the season has been Romero. A true leader.

Manager - I have never taken to a spurs manager so quicky. When he talks he makes me want to run through walls for him. Considering we lost Harry just days before the season started and didn't really replace him I think it's been a brilliant season.
If he gets most of what he wants this summer next season will be even better.

Maybe slightly harsh agreed, and probably letting the last couple of months cloud my judgement, but it’s only cos we hold him in such high regard. He has been poor though, for our captain.

Playing up front with no one. He needs physical presence to play off

Everyone gets a 6 apart from VDV, Romero and Udogie.
I would rate vicario a 7, even with the corner debacles. He has made some amazing saves, love his team ethic, and this season I have not had a single heart concern when he has the ball at his feet. (I cannot say the same in previous seasons) 😀

I've not seen the first three, but very few franchises make it past the trilogy stage without going batshit crazy.
This is the funniest comment I have seen for a long time, especially as I was just reading ‘rate the last movie you watched’ 🤣

Yeah 7 is fair. I just feel commanding your area is such a big part of being a goal keeper and he’s not been great in that department. I’ll go up to a 6.5.

Like this. Would probably swap Madders with PEH on their overall impact when available but agree pretty much elsewhere.
