I believe those criticising his spending should be aware that top players and the ones just below the top would not touch Bournmouth with a bargepole as relegation was going to happen sooner or later and therefor he was in an awkward position he needed better players but those he got were not massively better than he already had but the selling clubs knew he needed bodies and really overcharged Howe as he was in a cleft stick position he had to pay up the asking price of the selling clubs or risk stagnating .
He had performed football miracles in keeping them in the premier league for five years .

Definitely the kind of manager West Ham would hire, when Moyes gets inevitably sacked for playing shit football and having West Ham hanging around near the bottom of the league you can see them going for Howe if he's still available.

I think he is an excellent manager and his work at Bournemouth was exceptional. He does have weaknesses i.e. tactically and perhaps he needs to go away for the next season and think about how he can hone the tactics and adopt a plan B and even C - perhaps improve defensively?

A bit like Poch really where some improvement is required and just needs tweaking

I dont think he is ready for a top 8 job but perhaps a mid table team eg Spam, Palace etc
