Please. Anything in addition to those two would be a bonus IMO 🤞🤞
Yep these 2 would transform our attack.

It’s exactly what we need to take a decent step forwards. Just one of them won’t touch the sides, both would transform us and give us a great depth of options and quality.

Im hopeful of Eze given he’s a CAA Base client.

If we got both then I wonder what we are thinking with ST situ. Likely Son & Richy but if Richys fitness is an issue then just Son as main option up top leaves us quite light.

Eze would be great as he can cover LW and n.o 10 and then Neto can cover LW & RW.

An ambitious club who wants to win the title would go for these 2 and Gyokerez.
True and even signing these 2 and Gyokerez imo won’t be enough for us to challenge for the title but it would definitely take us a big step forward in having a robust deep quality squad to complete there or there abouts in Europe in the domestic cups and in the league.

I agree apart from the left side of defence. A signing there is essential in a season where we will be playing a ton of football matches. But given there’s still plenty of players we can get some cash for, I don’t see it as a mammoth task and a bonus to upgrade it.

We have quite a few to sell, PEH, Lo Celso, Spence, Regulon, Gill, possibly Solomon, Skip and a few others
We do have a long list of potential sales. But with PEH assumed gone, only Lo Celso, Skipp and Emerson are likely to hit double figure fees. The rest will be relatively trivial.

I don't see any way the budget stretches to cover all three you mentioned - unless we have a good offer for Kulu or Richie.

I think we will try to sell Royal, Reguilon, Lo Celso, Skipp and Gil and possibly Bentancaur.
We will have trouble selling Reguilon because of his wages and you might even see a N'Dombele style pay off. Gil has 2 years and may even go on loan because of a lack of takers. Soloman should go on loan IMO to get fitness because he won't be getting many games.

He can play 8 as well against the right teams
If we go back to an aggressive press in the front third then we‘ll need legs in that 10 role and relying on just Maddison won’t be enough. Plenty of minutes for both, Eze can slot onto that LW role at times and also the 8 role against some of those stubborn low block teams.

tbh id be happy with either Eze or Neto, if we somehow managed to get both, id be pleasantly shocked.
We need both or at least 2 winger signings of that quality. Or 1 winger and 1 striker, whatever combo it needs to be 2 top class attacking signings, 1 is not enough if we want to progress on next season especially as we will be back in Europe and also given we don’t actually have a ton of other areas which we desperately need to strengthen. (Possibly LB back up, 4th CB if no youngsters ready, maybe another CM and then a striker if Richy goes) so really given our good financial situation as well as some outgoing sales then we should put a lot of budget towards these 2 players being our main signings as attacking quality and depth is by far our biggest weakness which Ange will want to address.

I totally agree mate, just trying to tamper my own expectation/realism.

I have believed all along that Eze would come to us like a shot, it isn't him that would make it not happen?

I don’t think we need him. We have a crop of promising young midfielders that can support Maddison in the Europa this year. Money would be better spent on a first choice left winger and another LB.

Raid on Wolves for Neto and Ait Nouri would be delicious

Maddison had a mixed.season at best, and relying on kids is hopeful, any injuries like last season and we're in the sh*t.

Eze.gives us talent, depth, and versatility

Not for me.
Our attack is one dimensional and we can't rely on the kids over a long and hard season.
I wouldn't say no to LB cover but VDV can provide that if need be.
I think we definitely need wing/attacking options and probably (depending on Richy's fitness or sale) a striker too.
We certainly need more options and creativity in attack at present, imo.

It's doubtful that we'll fix every issue in this window, so we've got to prioritise our glaring weaknesses and for me, that's in attack.

I think if he comes in - he challenges Werner at LW.

Fair mate I’m just more optimistic with the current good internal set up we now have and Ange being on a 4yr deal long term project and being clear in his vision for the squad. He will be pushing very hard for 2 top attacking signings and it might not be Neto & Eze but I am hopefully we will get 2 in the end.

With Eze being CAA Base and can cover LW & n.o 10, he seems like a really good option. Fingers crossed. Also homegrown so another box ticked if we sign him.
