At least with the way Southgate is botching this Euros there's no concerns of Eze's price going through the roof, or bigger fish circling! Hard for anyone to look good in this current England side.

We need it out wide, having it central would be a massive help too though.

Imagine if we did have it though, would have got us over the line imo. Also we had Dembele central and he was a 1v1 monster, he created ridiculous amounts of space elsewhere by beating people.

I’m not saying Eze can’t help us and isn’t a good player. His dribbling would be very useful but it would be in central areas. We need it out wide too.

As for that Doue news, holy smokes!
What Doue news? I keeping looking but I can't find it.....

I'd argue Walker too. Maybe Pickford. Bellingham for a half.
I think there is an argument for walker. Pickford was as guilty as anyone for slowing the play down. Bellingham, as gifted as he is, played like he had already made it. Strolled around, wanted too much time on the ball and did not do anything really.

Well I know for a fact that Doue was shown around the training ground in the past week 😉. Happy to share background with mods if this is not allowed.

Gold linking us now

“Wingers have also been looked at, including 19-year-old Desire Doue at Rennes, who can play out wide or centrally in midfield”

I've been thinking a lot recently about what we need in this transfer window, and have concluded something which I don't think has been thought about much on here and may come across as a bit weird.

Keep hearing 'Number 6' this and 'Eze' that - but what we really need, is a good 1v1 winger. We simply will not function as a footballing institution unless an outstanding winger is purchased who can actually beat his man and put in quality crosses.

Rogue, I know, but I thought it was important everyone knew what I've realised. I'm pretty gassed actually that I'm the first person to identify this.

Fuck it let's take his RB brother too.
Not just from watching him but also statistically he stacks up very well to Vanderson. He’s obviously more raw given this was his first season as a starter and there is of course the HG dilemma but I think he’d suit the system really well.

That’s very good news for our Eze pursuit IMO.

I reckon Olise will sign that bumper new contract with the release clause.

Unless he’s off to Bayern or something.
