I think if this happens it happens late. Palace will want to see how he does at the Euros and try to bump his price up if he plays a lot and does well.

Barring injury, I can't see him getting much game time TBH as he's not one of Southgate's usual suspects.

He won't go to the euros imo.

Big call there mate. Personally, I’d be surprised if he didn’t go. I think he’s a fantastic option to have, and I’d probably have him in my starting 11, Southgate won’t do that, but he probably see’s him as a game changer. He’s had a better season than most, in the initial England squad.

Saka Foden Palmer Kane is surely everyones front 4 for Englands starting 11. All had incredible seasons, as much as i like Eze he is in the supporting cast if he goes at all. Regards our interest, I think the money will be too much for us this season and Palace will try to hold on to all their assets for at least another season. His contract is until 2027 so they dont need to sell just yet to get top dollar out of him and they have the makings of a team that can push for a European spot next season. It will take massive numbers to get any of their 3/4 stars this summer.

I think he'll go ahead of Maddison and Toney (as attackers, not position specific), however I'd see him as 4th choice in his two preferred positions after Gordon, Grealish and Foden at LW, and Bellingham, Foden and Palmer at CAM.

I'd say out of the wide players he's probably most dispensable, despite how good he's been this season.

What? Starting over who? There’s way better players out there

I doubt Southgate even goes that attack minded. I think he plays Bellingham in attacking midfield. Eze will be down the pecking order so doubt he makes much of an impression. I do like our attacking options though. It's just a shame our defence is weak hence why I think Southgate will try be more defensive central midfield. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gallagher start alongside Rice.

You are probably right but i would love to see us try and control the games with these players and have Bellingham playing a little deeper in the 8 alongside Rice. Go full Keegan for his last shot with the golden generation and see what it brings (ultimately going out to France in the QF or SF)

Yeah will almost certainly be either Gallagher or Mainoo with Rice, Bellingham ahead of them, Foden - Kane - Saka up top.

Unless a new attire means a new philosophy for Southgate.

Yeah agree. We really lack a tempo setter/controlling midfielder (hopefully Mainoo develops into that) so Southgate will have to play a CM that can give us legs to deal with stoping teams countering on us.

I get that everyone wants us to chuck in as many of our attacking players as possible but that’s not gonna win the tournament. Teams who have the best balance win. Chucking all our best players together and hoping for the best is the Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes England debate all over again.

No other clubs have done anything yet Palace already have Kamada, Chadi Riad and potentially Bellingham signed up.

Feels very like they’re getting their business done quickly before making a big sale in the attack…

I'd love Eze and he'd be top of my list if he was available.

However he is going to be very expensive, CP have no necessity to sell and even if they did want to cash in they would expect the release clause.

If I was a manager at any of the top teams I'd be interested in him.

But more than anything else, when have spurs paid top dollar for a signing? The only one I can think of is Richarlison and even then it was because Everton needed to sell. I'd be very surprised (and pleased) if this happens.

As a side note, CP are an incredibly well run club for their size. I kind of hope they do well next season.

Eze going depends on if he has a release clause imo.

Olise will definitely leave this summer so if Eze doesn’t have a release clause there’s no way they sell him too.

It wouldn't surprise me. I think both Eze and Olise have a lot of time for Palace. If they leave then they will do so respectfully and allow Palace to get their signings done first.

Ndombele and Romero weren’t exactly cheap. Porro at £40m for a right back was pretty high end too.

Olise is going to either Utd/Chelsea

Eze I think they will try and keep hold of unless they get silly money.
