If we cant sign Gallager, Eze or Ederson would be my choice. Not similar kind of players. But Eze would be a great addition to the midfield which is one dimensional in current squad.

Yeh and more so palace stance aswell. It’s a crossroads for them as his age factors into this 26 next month probably this summer they will get most money for him .
I wonder if Olise leaving will play into CP’s position Eze. Ether way I wonder if we would pay the money for Eze.

They proved with Zaha they're happy to hold their prized asset(s) into their late 20s and lose out on a big sale in order to maintain their prem safety. Will be intriguing to see if PSR changes this stance though!

I think they were pricing Zaha out of a move over the years which resulted in him running down his contract and leaving for free. I’m sure they won’t want that to happen again. They have a new manager that would’ve earned a lot of credit towards the end of last season and maybe they need to raise money for the players he wants

His stock is at an all time high. For a club like Palace who are not expected to challenge for trophies you'd have to think they want to cash in on an asset like Eze this summer after the end of the season he just had.

We really need to move on this imo. He'd be the different thing we're lacking to help us break down teams who sit back. He's not just about pace which isn't much use when teams are camped around their box.

The only thing against us moving quickly is that Eze doesn't need to, he can wait for the best offer.

Gonna point out that they sold Zaha to United and bought him back at a huge discount. They got their big sale from him.

Transfer Markt has that sale down to below €12 m. A lot at the time considering he was still seen as a talent and not a finished product.

Fantastic business from Palace to buy him back for a quarter of that and then develop him into what he became, but not sure that is to be considered a "big sale", and it's far from what they could have gotten a few years later. So, I'd say Snakehipsspurs point still stands.

Seeing Madders posting about Eze on his Insta story, there's clearly a lot of love there. Not to mention the footage after the game vs Palace at home when Son etc were seen being all friendly with him.

He's clearly an awesome person and signing him would just be immense vibes combined with genuinely making us better. Hope it happens.

Eze and Son are Burberry ambassadors, they know each other through that route. I wouldn’t read too much into the pitch conversation.

I think both have release clauses so it might be out of their hands

BBC seems to think they do, but also says they are not straight forward

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c98zypwz593o

Both Olise and Eze signed long-term deals this season so Palace are in a strong negotiating position.

Neither contract contains a straightforward release clause and any deal will be complex with percentages due to the players' former clubs, the players themselves and Crystal Palace.
