It's the hope that killsI don't think this one is dead yet. If Saudi pays us in a single installment for Richy I can see us either triggering the Eze release or the money being there forcing CP to the negotiating table.

You have the club would pay more and no release clause or less and put a release clause inNo, I haven’t.
Maybe, maybe not - release clause deals have certainly happened at the end of windows before. The club will know, as Eze’s agents seem to practically live at our training ground. You are assuming that the release clause is effective right up to the end of the window.
The lawyer who drafted the clause would presumably not have been so negligent as to allow that to happen.
First 3rd of the season we were excellent, then it tailed off dramatically. Might be equally due to personnel, drops in form, etc but I am eagerly looking to how we set up and press once the season begins. When you say strongest pressing do you mean press frequency or press effectiveness though? Big difference between a proper coached and structured press to just barking at players to chase down more. I felt last season at times it was lacking and we allowed opponents to counter attack us too easily. However, better ball retention in theory means you have to do less pressing, so if tiredness was the cause over organisation then that is easier to address.
Lawyers draft what the clients agree pal; you can advise them that blue is blue, but if they want to say red is blue then red is blue. You just filenote the shit out of it.You are assuming that the release clause is effective right up to the end of the window.

Ouch - a lawyer becoming defensive - I've never seen that before!Lawyers draft what the clients agree pal; you can advise them that blue is blue, but if they want to say red is blue then red is blue. You just filenote the shit out of it.
Stoof told client blue is blue. Client said he didn't care, and that red was in fact blue. Stoof suggested that red being blue wasn't necessarily the case in the market and that most deals end up with blue being blue. Client re-confirmed that red was blue and instructed Stoof to agree the documents on the basis red was blue.
Stick your negligence up your arse etc., you'll never sing that.
Ouch - someone misinterpreting correcting inaccuracy as defensiveness - I have seen that before.Ouch - a lawyer becoming defensive - I've never seen that before!

This potentially could lead to Eze to City.
They never valued him at the money. He was a cheap option to tide them over. To be fair no one valued him at that money or he'd have gone last year. Hes bang average and that's how they valued him.AM signing Alvarez and Gallagher for well over 100 million.
Remember them pleading poverty over PEH lol
I doubt City can pay a substantial up front fee having to follow fair play rules. They are probably selling Alvarez to balance the books and give them room for a lesser money deal for another player.75m I can see as fair, in some ways, but that 20m add-ons is crazy
