Interesting decision to not give QPR a freekick in the buildup to the Brentford goal. You see that type of challenge halting play 9 times out of 10.

The Raisins are terrible. Watched for 20 mins and I think Eze touched the ball once.

Yeah, I can't put myself through that anymore. Piss poor quality football, QPR have two defenders who just punt it forward to a short arse up front who is getting dominated. Eze on the left wing looks a handful when he has the ball but invariably goes backwards because Brentford are too well organised.

Ha ha. Sounds all too familiar.

Brentford’s LB Rico Henry might be worth keeping an eye on. In my very brief view, thought he looked quite good.

Yeah was highly rated when he was at Walsall a couple of years ago .

All agreed for Summer doesn’t make a ton of sense to me. Why would QPR agree to a deal today without knowing what the market is like in the Summer?

Depends on what the terms are.
We might be paying some fee up front now, giving them extra funds to try and get into the PL.

I would rather get this Eze boy who proved that he can battle through the championship and is HG and only 21 than Bruno Fernandes, who probably needs some time to learn the language.

Hope we can seal this soon.

It sucks because we need players now, but Eze in the summer makes much more sense. Let him finish out his most successful professional year with a coach the Tottenham hierarchy trusts for development (Warburton). No reason to bring him into our current chaos when he probably wouldn't even get that many games anyway behind Son and Lucas.

Bring him in the summer when things are calmer, he'll have a proper preseason and can hopefully hit the ground running next season. It's the proper developmental play.

Why wouldn’t we just announce it and then loan back? Or do the Keita deal and just say transfer to be made official on July 1?

Agree with most of this except expected position. He's played in a few positions, but in my opinion strongest as left of a midfield 3, can create like Ndombele.

We may do yet.
We've never been exactly quick to announce anything.
