Abel Hernandez is a nice prospect too, but going through injury problems at the moment at Palermo. They do have some exciting youngsters in Uruguay, attackers at least.

GUILLEM SAYS: Forlan's agent is desperately trying to get him out of Atletico Madrid; it is a club in crisis with a squad in decline and manager in Quique Sánchez Flores who, it has been suggested, could be sacked this season before he walks away. Anyway, Forlan says he has had enough of Atletico Madrid and that he doesn't owe them anything. He is a cultural and clever guy so he'd welcome the chance to experience another country but as yet only Juventus have shown any interest in him. According to Sky website we are making a late bid to sign him. To me he would be the ideal January signing and if we have to pay over the top for his salary package that would be compensated by a much lower transfer fee than some of the other names. At his age probably a 2 year contract max and that could head off potential discontent among other players. Still world class as he showed last summer. Klinsmann effect maybe.

The fact that we apparently offered 38Million today for aguero, if true is such a joke, we could have got saurez for £25mil.. This has been a complete farce.
