Just saw a Mail article that said that Spurs sacked Clive Allen as well as Redknapp, Joe Jordan and Kevin Bond.

Is this true?

Seems a bit strange? But I guess like when Jol went we got rid of Chris too.

Always liked clive, in fact Bond & Jordan too. Shame to lose that but hopefully new man will brings his own people in.

Lol it made me chuckle when I read that Jordan was informed by telephone call - I wouldn't want to tell him face to face either!!!

Beats hearing about it via twitter like Harry did or sitting on the touch line completely unaware that you have gone like Jol .

There is an inbuilt lack of class about Levy and his sycophants . He keeps Donna Cullen around to validate his decisions even though the club , which is paranoid about P.R. and spinning the news their way , make such a balls up of things like this .

Couldnt agree more. He is Spurs through and through so I hope he stays with the club in some capacity

I hope it isn't true. Clive Allen is not just a trainer, he's a part of Tottenham's history so unless he's really clashed badly with the Board, he shouldn't be going until he retires.

If he has gone and it's under a cloud, there is something badly amiss, if not to say rotten, with the state of Spurs right now.

I'd have considered Clive Allen as a future Spurs boss myself - he did a cracking job with the ressies.

Talking of the reserves, hope we bring them back now Harry's gone.

I agree with our loaning policy, but reserve matches are a good way to keep our players who frequent the bench match-fit.

surprised Allen went also

expected Bond and Jordan to go as they are basically attached to Harry at the hip.

So only Ferdinand , Parks and Sherwood left of the current coaching staff ?

Shame if true and end of an era, however no room for sentiment, sorry but if you are trying to implement a new era and ethos around the club sometimes you have to do what you least want to. None of us really know how he did within the club so we can't really comment on it.

If he has gone all the luck for the future and thanks for all he has done for the club through the years

Might have been a good idea for the board to hang on to the remains of the football management team incase they can't find anyone else prepared to work for them .

The Jol sacking was revealed during the Getafe match by some trigger happy moron who administers the site. Unless Levy updates the OS himself I'm pretty sure he was planning on making Jol aware of his decision in person afterwards, the same as he just did with Harry (unless you can point me in the direction of a Spurs/ Levy twitter account which tweeted 'You're fired' at a Harry account.
