My personal opinion is that both Neto and Eze have been the priorities all along how Ange intends to use them if they come is anyone's guess.

After our last expensive midfield purchase from France ended so horribly I wonder if the premier league based players look even more enticing for that reason.

I'm waiting to hear how we need to 'sell to buy' whilst we see our targets slowly get snapped up elsewhere

If we can sell players to cover what we've spent so far, then I reckon we'd have 120 to spend. Question is if we are fine with two more signings, or do we need more?

There’s the full tweet.

Big shame if we don’t move for him at least. One of the best signings we could make this summer.
We'll soon find out if we believe we can compete for his signature much like when Brentford triggered the release clause in Gray.

Certainly seems diminishing hope on the face of it and even less so for a double deal with Guela but at the very least, this looks like being concluded one way or another soon.

The one thing I’m clinging to is that our last 3 transfers we have convinced the player behind the scenes and then only jumped in to agree a deal once another team had essentially set the asking price.

Dragusin we negotiated for weeks then Bayern agreed the deal and all of a sudden we agreed it and sealed it.

Bergvall had all but signed for Barca according to all media outlets, agreed the price and then bang in we come matching the deal and convincing the player.

Gray was going to Brentford, they agreed a price and bang we stepped in and convinced the player, sealed the deal.

It could be the way Lange operates. Do it all on the quiet, wait for the asking price to be set and then move in.

I sincerely hope you’re right but got to admit I’m really struggling to stay hopeful on this one.

We have £200m in the bank
Not to spend we don't - that cash in the bank is almost definately to cover a covenant on our loans (a condition set by the loaning party to assure liquidity) that ensures a low interest rate........we can't spend it.
