If we get Desire, my hope is he plays as one of the no8s rather than LW. May be he will start out in LW but IMO, his game is far more suited to be a no8 with his ability to carry the ball. He also has excellent defensive capabilities and ability to protect the ball and play under pressure.

Looks like he's played more out wide than in-field but we need that versatility. Looks like we are choosing players happy and effective in multiple positions. Proper squad building. Would make sense after Royal at centre back etc.

This looks like it's moving in the right direction, wouldn't be surprised to see a few journalists picking up on this pretty soon. Not info my end as you know, but looking at what WLB has said, the chap on X is pretty good to be fair to him and the Like on the news of Gray moving to us is just all too convenient for this to not be moving in the right direction. Will be another masterful stroke from the club if we can get this over the line
