Yes. Sepsis was the very first item in my list above. And the second item was endocarditis, which is similar to sepsis: a bacterial infection in the bloodstream and the heart valves.

Can also lead to kidney failure when toxin levels are too high for them to filter. All nasty stuff.

I'm a retired dentist and while dental problems, impacted wisdom teeth for example, can cause systemic problems, I would still expect the occasional dynamic 90 minutes. We've seen the occasional 20 minutes. Part of the explanation maybe but not all of it.

Wenger was way ahead on this in mid to late 90s they saw that dental issues correlated with other (muscular) injuries. Fixing the dental problems resolved the other injuries. Weird but apparently true.

and Beckham when he went to AC Milan as well. I also remember Steven Gerrard having his taken out and it helped him. I wouldn't poo poo the suggestion.

All season? so why hasnt he got the problems sorted. Did he tell the club he was having problems with his teeth and gums or go to a dentist himself. Need more on the story.

I can imagine Ndombele being forced into a dentist chair with Mourinho holding him down.

Extraordinary stuff. I had no idea dental issues could have such a significant impact on the whole body. Thanks for the info lads.

The club employ their own dental surgeon so one would imagine the players receive regular checks.

I’d be disappointed if this is true; why it wasn’t spotted earlier?

Eh? Which dentist can look at someone's hampsteads and diagnose something completely unrelated (to dentistry). I've never heard of a dentist looking into someone's gob and saying 'oooh, get that fixed or you'll get a bad knee' for example. Mine certainly doesn't :D Although that's just a shot in the dark and i've no real idea..........It just doesn't seem right to me that it'd be something they could spot that's all, I may well be wrong :D

My guess is it isn't something that would be picked up on during your standard examination.

So that fan nest me who shouted move your arse or I'll kick yet teeth in was actually offering constructive support.
I don't know if this is true but I'll clutch at any straw to get the best out of him.
