Denmark coach says exactly what Spurs fans want to hear about Eriksen's future

Eriksen's importance to Spurs has been there for all to see in the opening weeks of the campaign and Denmark assistant coach Jon Dahl Tomasson believes that his fellow countryman should remain in the capital for the foreseeable future.

The head coach Hareide has recently stated this about Eriksen:

"Christian is a world class player on the pitch, and he’s a world class player off the pitch. He’s someone who loves to play football. He needs freedom to play, and it’s good that we’ve been able to give him that. But it also requires the other players to accept that freedom Christian has. And Christian isn’t the type of player who stands still and waits for the ball; he’s one of the ones who runs the most in our matches. It shows the love he has for the team and the skills he has as a football player, and we really appreciate that."
