We were wondering that because Everton were maxed out on loans, maybe we structured this deal in such a way that if he doesn't trigger the payment clauses that we can just take him back after a year or whatever. I've never heard of a permanent transfer with zero upfront fee.Still utterly confused by what the deal entails, and what's to stop Everton selling him before he plays twenty games
I’m sure Levy covered that base. Maybe a massive sell-on clause, 100% within 20 games, 98% within 30 games and so on.Still utterly confused by what the deal entails, and what's to stop Everton selling him before he plays twenty games
Yep, it's so strange. As I say I would love to know the details. Because I just don't see how it worksWe were wondering that because Everton were maxed out on loans, maybe we structured this deal in such a way that if he doesn't trigger the payment clauses that we can just take him back after a year or whatever. Yep, I am 100 percent that Levy isn't giving Dele away. What you suggest is the best way round I've read.??I’m sure Levy covered that base. Maybe a massive sell-on clause, 100% within 20 games, 98% within 30 games and so on.
He won’t allow Everton to ‘flip’ a sale. Surely….
Aha, good point. So if Everton flipped him and we got say 90 plus percent via a sell on clause, I wonder if their lawyers would get interested.MK Dons are due some of the fee as well apparently. they've got x% of 0 now.
My Everton mate just text me saying what happened to Dele he’s shit and gives the ball away so much.Everton fans thinking wtf?
Looks to me like we have been shafted in this deal. Can anyone see him getting 20 appearances for Everton?
