He should know better by now. He's had more than enough chances to cut this sort of crap out given that anything and everything can and will be misconstrued and blown out of proportion.

No wonder Ndombele was being played further forward in that 11 v 11 game.

What he did was wrong but you wouldn't expect your mates to run to a newspaper and share it with the world.

He is a young lad growing up and learning about life his friends(who not to trust) etc in the spotlight. I'm not at all defending the clip however I do partially blame the media at that time with overloading the public consistently referencing COVID-19 coming from an East Asian province.

Now the covid-19 spotlight has moved totally away from Eastern Asia, its now really become racial specifically to B.A.M.E

The media has made COVID-19 racial imo maybe that was by design.

He needs to learn that papers will pay up for anything muddy and he needs to be aware that many people would sell out at the merest whiff of a few quid. Modern life and celebrity culture and all that.

That's a bit unrealistic though isn't it, I'd wager stupid derogatory things are said by many high profile people amongst friends - what are the chances their own mates would grass them up?, not very high.

Can't argue with the ban given the precedent but I feel for the lad a bit. If anyone went through my phone, I'd be embarrassed by some stuff on there. I know he's famous but having a mate sell you out is poor form.

I wouldn't condemn him too much. It's just one of those where most people have made/sent a similar joke and he's unfortunate that a made stabbed him in the back. I don't for a second believe that Dele is racist. Just naive and a bit silly in this instance.

The leader of the free world is doing much worse than what Dele did on a daily basis and with a lot more nasty intent and vitriol.

You'd think he would've made an effort to surround himself with better people (or at least think twice before his actions) after that naked video got leaked as well.

I think I read somewhere he sent the video to a group with over 100 people in it. He's been around long enough now to know better IMO. These days they get trained in media handling etc and dont believe for a second that part of that doesn't involve them talking about the dangers of sending photos/videos to group chats that could be even remotely controversial.
