"I'm not saying sacking Sherwood was wrong. I'm saying you can't be successful if you change managers every two or three years."I was cool with him up until his multiple tirades on BT Sport, practically begging the Spurs board to keep Sherwood on for the longer term. NOW he's saying that sacking Sherwood wasn't necessarily a mistake?! Jeez Louise...
If Ginola had said on tv yes they should sack Sherwood when Sherwood was in charge that would have been far worse for spurs, come on what could he have said at that time ? Anyways we have to back our next manager.
First of all, he wasn't asked, he just went out and said it repeatedly just like another Spurs legend in Linekar did. It's not like they were in a tough spot with a pressing interviewer. Even if they were pressed, they could simply answer "that's a call the board will have to make" or offer a billion other dignified responses other than a glowing endorsement for the guy.
You think changing your mind, or adapting to new circumstances, is a bad thing? I'll bet you have the same thing for breakfast every day.I was cool with him up until his multiple tirades on BT Sport, practically begging the Spurs board to keep Sherwood on for the longer term. NOW he's saying that sacking Sherwood wasn't necessarily a mistake?! Jeez Louise...
