I was cool with him up until his multiple tirades on BT Sport, practically begging the Spurs board to keep Sherwood on for the longer term. NOW he's saying that sacking Sherwood wasn't necessarily a mistake?! Jeez Louise...

"I'm not saying sacking Sherwood was wrong. I'm saying you can't be successful if you change managers every two or three years."

I thnk he just wants stability for the club, be that with TS or the next man. When someone who was as mecurial as Ginola was as a player is calling for that repeatedly, you really know THFC is in a mess.

He's entitled to his opinion. The man is still a Spurs God in my mind. He'll have to talk a hell of a load of shit more than this for me to ever be angry with him!

We all want stability, patience and time for the spurs manager of our own choice - all the others can F-off - they are false gods.

If Ginola had said on tv yes they should sack Sherwood when Sherwood was in charge that would have been far worse for spurs, come on what could he have said at that time ? Anyways we have to back our next manager.

First of all, he wasn't asked, he just went out and said it repeatedly just like another Spurs legend in Linekar did. It's not like they were in a tough spot with a pressing interviewer. Even if they were pressed, they could simply answer "that's a call the board will have to make" or offer a billion other dignified responses other than a glowing endorsement for the guy.

Then presumably that was their opiinion, an opinion which as informed observers who care about our they are entitled to hold and to express.

You think changing your mind, or adapting to new circumstances, is a bad thing? I'll bet you have the same thing for breakfast every day. :)

I don't think Sherwood was ever anything other than a caretaker. Sure, he was given the title but IMO that was to give him some authority, nothing more. Levy had his eye on Van Gaal but knew he had to wait. Ginola is right about needing some consistency, but you can't keep the wrong person in the job for the sake of it. I'm sure nobody wants stable management any more than Daniel Levy.
