Danso overcame 'fishy' medical hitch that threatened career before transfer

Adversity is nothing new for Spurs' latest recruit Kevin Danso, who has overcome various hurdles on his long-winding road back to the Premier League where previously played for Southampton.

He was a youth team striker at Reading and MK Dons, moved into midfield at Augsburg - now he's out to fix Tottenham's defensive woes.

Love that he started out as a striker. Means he's an added threat when coming forward for corners and free-kicks. Every player should work on their scoring abilities but if can chip in with 4-5 goals a season that's a huge help.
