Europa win not enough for Spurs, we want Premier League title

Tottenham Hotspur sacked boss Ange Postecoglou despite winning Europa League; Thomas Frank replaced him; Daniel Levy and chief executive Vinai Venkatesham both outlined the reasoning behind the key football decisions this summer

Chairman Levy has spoken for the first time since Postecoglou's departure, explaining the board's decision to sack him in an interview with Spurs' in-house media team alongside Vinai Venkatesham, who was appointed as the club's chief executive in April.

i found the interview alongside Levy’s new BFF a little cringy…red-wine loving workaholics blahblah…lets see them put their money where their mouths are.
Only thing I agreed with was the CEOs statement that we have another level to get to as a club.

How the hell does he think we are going to win the league or champions league when we have only the 7th highest wage bill. If we are genuine in that intent you have to back it up with investment.

If our plan is to buy young players and develop them in a winning team then we have to at the very least be accepting of a little bit of ups and downs. Let's see if that is afforded to Frank.

Getting top 4 = winning the CL and the league. Just hope we somehow over perform and get that sweet CL money.

That wage ratio will increase as our teenaged stars come to their majority sign new contracts and increase their wages.
I doubt anyone meant we'd win the PL thos season but I'm pleased to see he has the same ambition as me.

Very coincidental that Donna Cullen has left her role as head of communications, during which time Levy never uttered a word to us about what Spurs ambitions actually were and within a couple of weeks he’d singing like a canary, with a hint of feel sorry for me with all the abuse I receive.

Levy must of been told to up his game.

The spurs in me thinks this is a whole lot of BS just to make the fan base happy however, big however what if he means business.

What if for a minute, winning the europa league has given him a taste of how it feels to have a trophy and he is ready to go all out.
