Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has reportedly baulked at Inter Milan's £55million asking price for Milan Skriniar. Inter are willing to let the Slovakian international leave but according to Tutto Mercato Web in talks between them and Spurs, Levy made clear he doesn't want to pay £55m and would rather do a swap deal.

I agree with that. I feel that we don't need another CF for that price tag. I'd rather invest crazy money in the midfield and centre of defence. That being said, I also don't think there are any decent CF candidates presently in premier league either. So I'd like an import.

Much as I feel we need to improve our centre backs I’m not sure how we can accomodate 4 senior cbs and keep them all happy. These positions tend to get rotated less than midfield or up front so imo we really only need 3 seniors plus one or two younger players like tangenga to come in if there an injury crisis

We need quality, don't think our current crop are up to it if we're being brutally honest.

absolutely. We concede so many goals from set pieces, we need to find that CB that can take charge of our own penalty box. Clean out everything to get his head on the ball.

I also wonder, with the new signings, to date, whether we might go wing backs and 3cbs. Possibles to get Bale, Reg, Doc, Son and Kane into their best positions. CM is weakest so would also take one from that area. Hojbjerg, GLC, Bale ahead and free in the ten. Son more central with Kane

I remember a few thinking we didn't need Alderweireld. I don't watch football outside of the Prem but if he is as good as his reputation then we should buy him if we can.

And we're also looking into Diaz at Benfica with the possibility to sign both
