He would be perfect replacement for Eriksen, can play on either wing or centrally, type that makes those killer passes for stikers. He is also much better at dribbling than Eriksen. He's a Barcelona kid and he'll probably end up there, nothing we can do.

To sign the likes of Olmo we need to be going in hard with an excellent offer for both the club and player. No fannying about and penny pinching otherwise he’ll end up going elsewhere. Given the fact our season looks like ending in tatters with no champions league next season, if we’ve aspirations of chasing Chelsea down then we need to be bringing in 2-3 players in January whom will positively impact on our results.

If Barca are in for him, it doesn't matter how "hard" we go in for him.

If we can't get a superstar youngster like Olmo, we should really try for Lemar on loan w/ an option. Not had the best of times at Atleti, but most of our attacks die when it gets to Dele or Lucas, we need good passers in attack desperately and he is one.

Lemar made 0G0A this season in 15 appearances, and 3G3A last. His passing stats isn't a lot better than Dele and his numbers at Atleti are really, really bad.

Doesn't make for great reading, but he was absolutely phenomenal at Monaco. I still think he would be worth a cheap loan with an option to buy at the end.

Surely any funds we have floating about need to go towards a RB and a DM?
I would agree but the number of times Dele and Lucas are losing the ball is really hurting the whole team defensively as well. We have so much to work on.

A good team starts at the back.
This. Just watched bits of the pool game. Their back 5 are sold as fuck.... front three are quick as fuck. So fucking depressing how shit our current back 5 are. Our cbs are so wooden, even Toby looks like he struggles.

Also I've noticed that Klopp doesn't sign many players that aren't mobile.

You could argue that individually their midfield isn't the best but they are all well rounded, mobile players.

The midfield put a shift in and are all comfortable on the ball without being Pirlo. They’ve basically set a team up without a creative midfielder. Their fall backs are unreal. I think it’s one of 5he hardest positions to get right, city have spend around 200m trying to find the right blend. Liverpool signed Robertson for peanuts and Trent obviously through the academy. Sucks.

Think we had ITK we will be looking for tall, athletic players (obviously with technical ability). Hope it's true. Bored of seeing oil tankers like Dier on the pitch and given the run around.

Even someone like Aurier is hindered by carrying too much muscle. Looks like a human sized action man figure. Actually knew someone who had dealings with Joe Gomez at Liverpool and he once told me at some point Klopp told him he was carrying too much muscle mass and he needed to work on dropping it if he was going to get into the side. Had to lay of the weights and work on leaning out.

Dani Olmo (Dinamo Zagreb): "It makes me happy that Barcelona have made an offer for me."

he needs to wind his neck in.

Why? He originated from Barcelona and now he’ll get the chance to play for their 1st team.

It was noticable how their midfield pressed the shit out of ours last time we played.

And we didn't have the athleticism or mobility to get near them enough to do the same back.

Ndombele is the only midfielder that would fit Klopps criteria.

Watched every game of the group Zagreb/Atalanta/Shakhtar/City were in. Olmo was a top 5 player within that group and easily the standout for Zagreb.
