Olmo is much more than a right winger anyway. He can play across the attacking midfield in an AM3 and as a No. 8 in a CM3. His versatility is one of his top attributes. He's a player who would immediately represent an upgrade on Lucas and provide us with the second playmaking AM we're clearly after as Eriksen leaves the club (we all know we can't rely on Lamela's fitness) for 22-25m. Seems like a no-brainer except for the fact that we've got higher priorities.

Maybe so, but if there are no players available in those priority positions then we shouldn't pass up an opportunity to get a quality attacking midfielder in, especially with Eriksen most likely going this window.

Although I know nothing about this particular player and whether he is any good or not.

I'd agree he shouldn't be our main priority, but from what I've seen from this kid at both club and national (u21) level, he seems to be a real asset and would love to see him in a Spurs shirt. Considering his history with Barca though, I think he'd only move to a club that absolutely guarantees him an immediate starting role/minutes, which I don't see us doing.

We haven’t scored in three straight league games and have our most creative player leaving us most likely. RW is fairly high up there with DM & RB for me. Lucas has been pretty terrible this year and especially if we’re going to stick with Dele as a #10 we need someone at RW who can offer more in terms of assists/creativity than Lucas. Lo Celso should be a 10/8 and Lamela should be off in the summer as he clearly can’t be relied upon.

I suppose we can just blame it on the new manager but it was seemingly a high priority in the summer. Whether we believe that or not I guess.

We have enough for Olmo who will be worth 3-5 times more than what we paid for him in couple of years. Will be worth double as soon as he signs for anyone.
