Talented players but we must be careful not to waste the cash on players just because they play (sometimes) for Real.

Real Madrid know they are not the level of Hazard and Eriksen, we don’t need to confirm it.

Off the top of my head I believe Real Madrid sold Samuel Eto'o, Esteban Cambiasso and Juan Mata early in their careers.

Plus sold the likes of Makelele, Seedorf, Xabi Alonso and Arjen Robben too early.

VDV too, although he wasn't young.

Madrid will cast aside anyone for a shiny new toy, so the fact that they're willing to sell Ceballos is irrelevant to how good he is tbf.

I'd encourage everyone to watch the video of him below as a 20 year old first choice player Betis from 2016/2017. He's definitely a big talent and that season he also averaged 3.3 tackles per game which was top 10 in La Liga.

He made the mistake of jumping to Madrid too early and his career stalled out, as Madrid has no patience for developing players. It's happened to so many players.

He has dominated the last two u21 Euros and this one had a pretty good crop of players. Still only just about to turn 23, let him develop under Poch in a favorable environment and I think he could thrive.

We were also linked with him back then. I think he’s been on the radar for a while. Personally I’d like him.

He looks competent but a wee bit of a water carrier. Admittedly a more extravagant one. GLC looks far more dynamic which is why he excites more. I've not seen either play.

Didn’t you say that midfield wasn’t a priority because of Onomah and Skipp??
Yeah I did apart from the obvious Dembele replacement. Until we decide what we're doing with the talent we have I also mentioned Amos who has since been loaned to QPR. Skipp Onomah Winks Dier Sissoko Ndombele we trust gets over the line. Obviously things can change.

Reminds me quite a bit of Winks in the way he plays, and that can't be a bad thing. He likes to take the ball on the half turn and use it quickly. LoCelso looks the better player but Ceballos at a fraction of the price doesn't look a bad aoption at all.

Is he a fraction of the price? I saw reports real would want 50m euro for this transfer?

Who knows? But if he is a lot cheaper than LoCelso and Betis won't budge I wouldn't mind him.

The way Ceballos strikes a ball is very nice, could see him being very good in the PL. Would happily take him and some cash for Eriksen.

If Eriksen goes I'd like both. With Ndombele, LoCelso, Ceballos and Winks to pick from for midfield the overall creativity of the team would be a lot higher than it is now.

Lo Celso and Ceballos would be probably the best we can do to replace Eriksen. I'd be delighted with that considering the circumstances.

Can see this, with Eriksen going the other way and buying Lo Celso. Doesn't eat in to our budget this season and if it works out well we'd all ready have everything in place in replacing Eriksen.

If we bring in Lo Celso to replace Eriksen, then this would be an excellent addition to central midfield. Ideally with a view to buy.

Okay but what if he's good and Madrid decide that they want him back? I doubt levy would be anywhere near that stupid to agree to such a deal, but I don't want to see us lose Eriksen then lose one of his replacements the next season. Would rather Eriksen go for Ceballos + 45m and then put that towards lo Celso.

With the rumours that we didnt want to loan Tielemans without an option to buy I think it would be weird by our club not to insist on an option to buy.

Eriksen out and Ceballos + Lo Celso in, yes I would take it.
