doesn't say

Levski have already been conducting some business in England, recently securing the services of Christian Ceballos from Tottenham Hotspur. The club have been struggling in recent seasons, having last won a major trophy over four years ago. Last season they finished second in the league and were runners-up in the domestic cup competition. Things this season have got off to a disappointing start too, with the club losing in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

I'd seriously question the purpose of our youth academy if he's been let go permanently to be honest.

According to this blogpost from LesRosBifs, a website focussed on English players abroad, Christian Ceballos has joined Levski Sofia (see last paragraph).

The site has genuine sources as far as I know.

http://lesrosbifs.org/former-spurs-man-david-bentley-looking-for-a-move-to-bulgaria/

p.s. the article is about Bentley moving to Sofia too.

The article came out about 2 weeks ago - but nobody else is reporting it, so I doubt if true. However time will tell if there is any basis for it

Apropos of nothing David Bentley was apparantly on trial there.

Last game he played for us (From what I can see) was against Cambridge in the spurs XI team, this was only on the 7th of August.

Spurs squad: Miles, Vigouroux, Falque, Fredericks, Ceballos, McEvoy, Coulthirst, Bentaleb, Ward, Lameiras, McEneff, Ball, A McQueen, D McQueen, Gallifuoco, Stewart.

There were talk about that in Bulgaria a couple of weeks ago but I refused to believe at the time that he would go to any bulgarian team in what is a very shitty league. The sporting director of the club in question at the time said that they would like to sign him and negotiations with his manager are under way. They were also interested in David Bentley :ROFLMAO:

Things have changed since and the club has part ways with most of its foreigners on big wages (Ceballos was going to be one of them). I think the probability of such a transfer is very low. The worrying thing is Ceballos didn't feature in the last couple of U-21 games, he hasn't gone on loan and we actually don't know what's going on with him.

can't remember really where the page is, but I remember reading from a page on the OS that mentioned Ceballos was injured, hence he was not able to play against our recent U21 game against Chel$hit....

Somehow lost in the bustle of deadline day, Cristian Ceballos has apparently joined newly-promoted Portuguese side Arouca on a season-long loan:
