Probably because some fans where chanting "Brennan you're a c*** Brennan Brennan you're a c***" at HOME to Arsenal. Not to mention the many many random shouts of "c***" directed towards him, all very very audible on the live broadcast on Sky. Disgusting from our own "fans"
Honestly can't remember hearing anything like that.

He's not a touchline winger. He's always had that in his locker, and it's why he played a lot up front at Forrest.
Which makes his expensive purchase by Ange to play in his "touchline winger" system the more baffling

Did not see the game yesterday. What are you thoughts on Brennan’s reaction attitude scoring the goal + after match celebration?
Just looked like relief more than anything, and almost looked like he was going to cry poor lad.

I'm so happy for him as there really is a player in there. I just don't think he can do what he's being asked o do, it's just not his game.

I think Coventry actually played really well. They were under no pressure and at home with quite a lively crowd behind them and they absorbed a lot of pressure in the first half. We just seem incapable of creating clear cut chances, imo mainly because we are just too slow and methodical in possession. Both our goals came from quick passing moves from deeper positions, but when we get closer to goal we can't get through the middle, so please just get it wide and put a few crosses in. Having said that, our delivery into the box was, yet again, extremely poor with no chance of scoring so there'saheap of work to be done.

I thought last night would have been an ideal game for Dragusin. Good in the air, gets stuck in. Didn’t quite work out like that. At times we were all over the place, culminating in Forster flattening Dragusin.
Nice to win a game we didn’t deserve to win. We found a way to win as the pundits would say.

I couldn't give a fuck, as long as scores he can pick his nose and eat it as far as I'm concerned.

Fortunately Dragu barged the Cov player sideways out of control before Forster clattered him

It seemed to be being picked up by the microphones on the pitch when Johnson had the ball in the bottom right corner area so I'm assuming some fans in that corner. Lasted about 5 minutes on and off which is why I think it was picked up from that mic and not from people around the commentary team. Either the fans stopped or sky cottoned on and muted that mic.

There's just no way I think our fans have chanted that. I know we've been hostile to players before but never like that. I think that's likely arsenal fans. Either that or misheard. I have a surround sound system and can't say I noticed it.

Im next to the away fans behind the goal. I didn’t hear anything aimed at Johnson from our fans. Not saying it didn’t happen but actual chants seems very out of character…

Sorry mate I think you must have misheard, If anyone did that they'd chant Johnson rather than Brennan. I'm trying to think who it could have been if not him, Campbell most likely.

Paramount+ is without a doubt the worst streaming app on my TV. It’s so slow loading content; it’s like having dial up internet again. On Tuesday every time I went back to the last page after watching a CL game’s highlights it crashed. I went to YouTube to watch them where I had no problems. Last night on my TV the Spurs game’s replay was only 60 minutes long ending just before HT. I had to watch it in my computer where the the app seems to work much better. Whoever is in charge of producing their software is taking the piss out of them.

I never said it was a full on chant, but there clearly was a small group in that corner, impossible to tell how many, could have been 2 or 3 blokes or could have been 20 but there were 100% chanting brennan and it was always when he was close to the touchline, i.e, it close enough to hear it.

That's the opposite stand mate.

Was 100% Brennan and deffo abuse was directed at him. As I said it didn't go on for long, it was a short period in the second half, if I remember correctly it was shortly after 1 or 2 poor crosses/decisions.

I don't have sky sports, wish I did and recorded it as I'd go back and find it.

I would have loved to be able to tell you that you're wrong.

But judging on some of the abuse he gets on social media and on here, it wouldn't surprise me one bit sadly.

Like every fan base some of our own display c***ish behaviour too.
