Watched that in a bar in Ibiza sat near a Cov fan. Told him the best team lost. Not that bothered really. We needed that win badly.
I thought he was better tonight. Starting to feel his strength and run into/past people. No just a bit average.
Our best player, first halfNo just a bit average.
Pleased he didn’t. Feared the worst with that team. We got away with it.Shame for Moore. His teammates let him down tonight. He should have gotten some minutes.
Yes but most likely not from fans in the stadium.I agree, I wasn’t digging Brennan out at all I completely understand it’s just a sad state of affairs that a young player isn’t celebrating with fans after he’s just scored a late winner because of how he’s been harangued by his own fans
Now that's a low bar!Our best player, first half
Heard it clear as day mate in the live Sky Sports broadcast, it was so clear at times I was shocked the commentators didn't apologise for bad language heard as they usually do. Was 100% spurs fans aswell as it seemed to be being picked up by the pitch mic in the South/West corner..Is that actually true?
If so absolutely disgusting and disgraceful from our fans.
he needs to quit looking at it. Deleted all mine more than 8 years ago. Toxic shit all of itThe fans abuse him on social media so he doesn't celebrate.
He was probably on ket so wouldn’t know what was going on anywayWatched that in a bar in Ibiza sat near a Cov fan. Told him the best team lost. Not that bothered really. We needed that win badly.
All that Werner has/had going for him was he was cheap and available.Phew. Needed that win. However it came. Confidence clearly on the floor. Looked absolutely clueles for most part. Really happy for Brennan. Seems a top guy - just need to use him properly. If anything, game showed how truly pointless the Werner re-loan was. Concerned how recruitment boffins felt that to be a direction of travel. Time to focus on clean sheets for a bit and go again from there. Fragile.
It's more movement for me. We're pretty much static majority of the time. The lack of technical ability in our squad is a massive concern.
Which is crazy when you think of the third man running we had early last season. It's more movement for me. We're pretty much static majority of the time.
That was a massive part of the difference after the substitutions, especially Kulusevski, so much more movement, Djed Spence's goal a perfect example. It's more movement for me. We're pretty much static majority of the time.
This is the issue with us, we are far too predicable. No one makes runs in behind even when we counter attack, very rarely do we switch the play quickly or mix it up and whip higher crosses into the dangerous areas even when we have Richy or Solanke. We've almost been over coached to play 1 way and 1 way only and it's hurting us because firstly we don't have the top quality wingers to do what Ange wants, and secondly, because it really forces the few creative players we do have to go against their instinct and try something different and creative, so they tend to go side wards or back in the final third. It's more movement for me. We're pretty much static majority of the time.
Every single winger we have is better on the left.He looks better in the left. The Werner loan get more baffling every day and why oh why did we not sign a right winger….
Absolutely. Feels like our attacking game has regressed massively and is incredibly over-structured: i.e. Work it wide and pull it back. Don't believe Liverpool are in any way more technically proficient than us - their movement/smarts are night and day though.Which is crazy when you think of the third man running we had early last season.
I appreciate that teams sit narrow and deep now but surely that shouldn't stop movement?
It just has to be more nuanced and the movement more dynamic. Just not sure we have the players that appreciate that space and have the technique and speed to marry those things .
