I like your attitude, but I am not confident.

It does not feel like the team understands how to play with Ange's tactics - particularly in terms of creating chances and goals.
We can't create for shit, but there is something not quite right with too many bodies, wingers not quite right etc..

Hopefully we can move forward with a little more confidence though

This squad needs a proper captain on the pitch as well, someone who leads by example and inspires others when necessary.

Jamie Redknapp just said we "took a liberty" with the team we picked and I find it hard disagree with him.

Other than the coming out a bit late, really didn't do too mich wrong, dropped a cross though, more to do with game practise than anything else.

Was dominant in set pieces, made a couple of decent saves.

Very far from the problems on the pitch.
he cant play out, terrible with his feet and is slower then a turtle

Kulusevski are best player at the moment.

Yeah Coventry really didn't know what to do with him. I can understand why Ange left him until last in the subs though, he works so hard on the pitch and getting him rest time will be important to keep him firing all season rather than tailing off.

Fiest pass he made granted, but he kicks better into the channels than vicario.

Slower as well, but more dominant..

As I said, very far from our on the pitch issues tonight

Their defenders just bounced off him at times.

Didn't look like Johnson wanted to celebrate with the fans there....?

Brennan didn’t want to acknowledge the fans there, that’s sad to see
Probably because some fans where chanting "Brennan you're a c*** Brennan Brennan you're a c***" at HOME to Arsenal. Not to mention the many many random shouts of "c***" directed towards him, all very very audible on the live broadcast on Sky. Disgusting from our own "fans"

I thought Forster was fine personally.

The commentators hype up our problems from set pieces but we literally had one of our first choice back 5 in the team and we looked fine.

I thought that was a good honest post match interview there from Brennan Johnson. Fair play he called it how it was. Pleased to be in the next round but there’s no getting away from it we got out of jail.

The biggest steal in many a year, first half was just dull but second half they completely outfought us and played better/more effective football for most of it.

Atrocious display and a freak comeback doesn't paper over the cracks. Most of the midfield/attacking line and their work in the final third is closer to top of the Championship standard, rather than top of the Premier League.
It wasn't a freak comeback it was because we bought on our major players and they were quite simply head and shoulders above the Coventry players in quality.

On paper no liberties were taken whatsoever with that team. It was above Championship quality and thus better than Coventry, in theory. We could have won with what we had on the pitch and that would be a very reasonable expectation.
