Based on how we’ve been operating, I’d bet our CM (if we get one) is not one that has been on anybody’s radar.Fair enough - onto the next! If he goes to Villa, maybe we go for Ramsey
City love meeting quotas by buying English players who are good enough to be back ups on their squads to stash on the bench with no intention of playing them.City love a random English midfield signing
I’m not surprised city are interested he’s being underrated on here.City love a random English midfield signing
Never believed he would agree to join us because of he and his family being diehard Chelsea. Has been treated utterly appallingly mind you.Spoke to his brother, despite the family being die hard Chel$ki they are royally pissed off with his treatment. He won’t be signing for us, either will see his contract out or both Citeh and Villa have sounded the family out
Can we stop calling it fkn rosterJust sent Phillips to Ipswich to clear up an unused roster spot.
We had similar calls just before Bale returned. Can we just close this thread. It’s never happening.
One of the last times I remember you calling someone out for this was me when I said Conte would never sign for us, havnt done it since but still wish I was rightWe had similar calls just before Bale returned.
Where football is concerned the word 'never' can sometimes ease it's way right up the chocolate chute.
Fair mate true anything can happen in football. I bet we go and sign him now so I look like a right whally .We had similar calls just before Bale returned.

Fab really wants his here we go
I know we looked at Gallagher but it's the 6 we're weak in. Bissouma is gradually fading away and none of the others have that sit and defend ability. It seems like this one is not happening for us. If we're looking for a high energy / all-action midfielder I'd love for us to look at Quinten Timber from Feyenoord (yes his twin brother plays for Arsenal). He is not quite Gallagher levels of work rate, but he's high intensity, better than Gallagher on the ball (very press resistant) and can play as an 8 on either side. Don't think he'd cost crazy money money either. Had a break-out season last year.

Many of the elite clubs are looking for the same profile- Arsenal, Lpool, United. Players like Rodri are extremely rare. Gray was bought in to mould into that role eventually imo. Not sure we will realistically be able to buy a ready made fit right now.I know we looked at Gallagher but it's the 6 we're weak in. We need someone with good defensive awareness, mobility and an ability to receive and distribute under pressure
Can't see why we'd sign another 8 when we have Bentancur, grey, bergval and Sarr all playing there. That's probably the position we have the most depth inMany of the elite clubs are looking for the same profile- Arsenal, Lpool, United. Players like Rodri are extremely rare. I don't disagree. But why did Ange want Gallagher? He's an upgrade on Bentancur and Sarr in Ange's system- I think he wants a high intensity box crashing midfielder. Love Bergvall but he's still raw and unproven given his age. Can't see why we'd sign another 8 when we have Bentancur, grey, bergval and Sarr all playing there.
