It will happen anyway but it feels to me like he's desperate not to go there, every day they find a reason to delay it by another day, hoping against hope someone else will come in, but he's run out of rope

Considering Chelsea are buying their striker for similar amount as they are spending on Gallagher it wouldn't surprise me if that story had truth in it but in the end they are essentially getting Gallagher in a straight swap for a striker with a poor scoring record.
