my sister got a dragons ticket (general sale, standing, no dynamic pricing) for us while on holiday in portugal.

i've been trying since 10am and the queue has barely moved. feels like another ticketmaster UK fuck-up to me.

Quite surprised to be honest. People really have poor taste in music these days.
It's getting a bit ridiculous if half decent bands can sell out. I was looking at Beyonce concerts at the stadium and in 2022 she had 240k people in 5 days... that's over 50k per gig. Apparently it can go as high as 70k.

These are not cheap as well, with the food services and all the other tourist stuff, we probably don't even need a football club anymore. If we keep pushing up the number of gigs per year we'll be the richest club (company) in the world soon enough.

We even got 52k for a midweek game against Qarabag. The financial reports will make interesting reading.

I was looking at the prices of imagine dragons - 100 quid plus for a ticket, what sort of madman would pay that to see them?
