Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now had as many concerts as the Emirates despite being 15 years older and a period of Covid.

17 each.

I heard elsewhere that there was so many wimmin there (obv) that there wasn't enough Ladyloos for them

One of the toilet areas was out of water so lots of ladies using the gents instead

Yeah, apparently they just put ladies signs up on some gents toilets. Which actually created more queues as women don't have dicks

Yeah, stadiums regularly do this to us at concerts, women's football games etc. And it just means really slow queues because nobody can see that it's all urinals with like two cubicles until you're near the front.

I have heard that at a number of outdoor festivals that they provide stand up urinals for women. On the basis that they are successful It cannot be beyond the whit of man (yeah I know) to design an adaptation system for male urinals to turn them into stand up toilets for women?

Can't see it sadly. They have (at least the option to) squat and a privacy screen that protects you waist-down. Plus a very funny shape!

Just very hard to balance at venues where the crowd's sometimes 80% women, sometimes 80% men, and everyone wants to pee at the same time. Some good gender neutral loos with all cubicles would help the chaos at concerts but make things a bit slower at men's games.

I was out last night, and it took me an age to get home. The pains of being a local resident. Usually, it is fine-ish, but the overground is suspended on the weekends until mid-July, so the poor transport is even more obvious.

I was so pissed, my inner nimby was begging to be released :ROFLMAO:

At this point, it definitely feels like there is an event or two every weekend, but then we will have European games next season as well, so it will only get busier.

The club brings a lot of business to the area, which is a good thing, but they need to somehow force the issue of transport. I don't think it's sustainable in the long term because it's already on the edge. We need more capacity in the area.

Also, a bit of a sidetrack, so due to the diversion, I had to make my way home from the opposite end, so from Edmonton to Tottenham, and I had to walk down Fore Street (I FUCKING HATE THIS STREET), and the level of prostitution was insane. There was a woman on every available corner. :(
Good time to put pressure on David Lammy then...

He already does, but he will be even busier with the Foreign Office brief. It is up to Khan and TFL, but I feel much more positive about Crossrail 2 already given its a Labour Mayor and Government. When it is different either way, they tend to block each other out of spite!

Not at the Spurs stadium.... There is a combination of designated ladies toilets (all cubicles) designated men's toilets (mainly urinals with a few cubicles) and toilets that are mainly cubicles that are designated as men's toilets on football match days with some or all of which instead designated as women's toilets for concerts.

I've seen them live, and they are excellent, but they never struck me as a headline act. They just didn't have that type of energy or presence.

I am fussy though, for example, I'd say the Arctic Monkeys are not headline material, but they headline a fair bit. :ROFLMAO:
