Hi all,

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this type of question.

Lifetime Spurs fan, just joined the community and looking for some help & advice. I live in Bristol and have been doing my best to convince my 13 year old son Jacob to join the misery of being a Spurs fan, we've been up to the new stadium a few times but cost (of travel specifically) has been an ongoing challenge.

I've very luckily been gifted some tickets in Hospitality for the Wolves game on 29th Dec - the only issue is that Paddington station have works going on so doesn't look like that's a route we can take. (Usually go from Bristol Parkway to Paddington & catch tube to Northumberland Park)

I think the only way it will work is to stay overnight and that then opens up the option of driving, coach or train to another part of London.

Does anyone have any hotel recommendations or other travel experience they can share to help me decide please? Happy to share some more details but would love to be able to get to the ground early (3pm kick off) and let him look around, but don't know London well enough to know what is viable.

Cheers.

Maybe not the best option but we tend to stay in Stratford (avoids driving through Central London, easy to park and stay in one of the hotels at Westfields, albeit can be a little expensive). Then tube to Liverpool St and trains to WHL are then fairly easy.

Thank you - would you recommend getting a hotel near Westfield Shopping Centre and parking there for 24 hours? Seems to be Travel Lodge nearby and close to tube....

Travel over from Dublin a few times a year and found staying around Waterloo station very handy. It's about 10 mins from Tottenham Hale on tube and has a premier Inn which is cheap (for London) and cheerful and there's a fair few good spots for food and drinks around there.

Yeah, that's what we do quite often. There's the shopping centre car park but also the international car park which isn't too bad. It's more expensive if West Ham are at home though...

Leave the car in Reading... Elizabeth Line into Central London (45mins). Find a hotel anywhere near a Victoria Line tube station or Liverpool St Station and then you're North to Spurs on the Victoria or normal overground/national rail services.

Job done.

You could check the Tottenham coach service, as they take you close to the ground and then back to pick up... Could save you the cost of the hotel.. You might have to drive part way... Maidenhead is on the M4 corridor..

I've used them previously from Wycombe and found it quite useful, as you don't have to join the cues for the tube / railways, around 10 min walk to the pick up point...

Travel from West Wales couple of times a season.. normal option is train into Paddington, tube up to Seven Sisters (via a change normally Kings Cross).

Last few times we've driven and stayed in Premier Inn Enfield.
5 mins off M25 and not too bad a drive.
Two options from there..overground from Enfield to WHL or Uber (normally around £15).
