Disagree with their view on Disco Benny and the team they've picked is very unbalanced.

wilsherse if he is an attacking midfielder isnt even fit to clean Lukas boots.

if he is a dm midfielder Parker is better than him and will keep him out of the England team.

only sagna(and only because Walker is young and not the finished article) and Rvp get in our team.

King over vermalen and kaboul over koscienly or mertazacker.

A strange and pointless exercise, but still, I have to add my voice for Benny. Even Arsenal fans secretly wish he was in their team. Who wouldn't?

Bit of a strange article. Bale is not a left back. At best an attacking wing back for a Barca-style team. Vermaelen has been playing on the left back quite often for Arsenal this season, and for my money it would be Kaboul/King at CB with Koscielny the only Arsenal player coming close.

Also find it strange that when comparing keepers the argument pro Sczceny is that he's younger, yet for Sagna vs Walker it's the other way around. When you look at the stats for Friedel vs Sczceny this season Friedel takes a landslide victory in terms of save %, number of shots kept out etc.

Although Sagna hasn't played much this season I'd pick him over Walker for a combined side. Other than that, and if we disregard age (Friedel) the only other player I'd take is van Rapist.

Friedel
Sagna - Kaboul - King - BAE
Parker - Modric
Lennon - Van der Vaart - Bale
van Persie

Right back is so close. Flick of a coin even. Sagna wouldnt dislodge Walker in ours and Walker wouldn't dislodge Sagna in theirs. Also feel the same regarding the keepers.

Maybe even a case with Kaboul and Vermaelen.

But there has to be room for someone like Wilshere and Van Persie FC is a shoe in

So Martin Keown, Football Expert, has done one of these again

Here are his ratings, GK's:
Cech - 9/10
Lloris - 8.5/10

Cech who has made several errors already this season whilst Lloris has been doing his job

Fullbacks
Debuchy - 5/10
Monreal - 7/10

Walker - 7/10
Rose - 6/10

Walker better than Roseo_O

Centreback
Koscielny - 8/10
Mertesacker - 6.5/10

Vertonghen - 7.5/10
Alderweireld - 8/10

Thats fair bit harsh on vertonghen

Defensive Midfield
Coquelin - 7/10
Carzola - 8/10

Dier - 7/10
Dembele - 7/10

Coquelin has only been rated 7 because of a limited passing but Dier has been given 7/10

Attacking Midfield
Sanchez - 9.5/10
Ozil - 9/10
Campbell - 5/10

Lamela - 6.5/10
Eriksen - 7/10
Alli - 7.5/10

o_O So across midfield Alli is our best midfielder, Lamela has only got 6.5 because he only has 4 goals to his name yet but ozil is a 9/10 because he has 9 assist but only 2 goals. Whilst

Striker
Giroud - 7.5/10
Kane - 8/10

Arsenal: 81.5/110
Tottenham: 80/110

Anybody that thinks Cech is better than Lloris should have whatever is left of their brain removed. In his prime, yes, but now - not a chance. It's a nonsense thing to do, especially when he has heavy ties to Arsenal and has literally 0 chance of being unbiased. Same reason it would be pointless any of us doing the same exercise due to our deep-seated coys ties.

And why's he ignoring Son? I know he's been out injured, but he's back now.

My combined XI would probably be:

Lloris - Bellerin, Alderweireld, Koscielny, Rose - Dier, Cazorla - Alexis, Özil, Eriksen - Kane

Subs: Cech, Vertonghen, Coquelin, Ramsey, Walcott, Son, Giroud

Not a lot to argue about there Arsenal have better individuals than us in pretty much every area.

That's a title-winning side TBH.

Keown is such a monkey headed, missing link.
His player ratings are erratic at best and totally biased, as is usual for him.
God I hate that ape!

Anyone that would rate Alli as our best midfielder this season is just buying into the hype, reading the papers and probably haven't watched a lot of our games this season. Sure, he's been good but certainly not better than Dier, Lamela and Eriksen.

The only thing I'd change is put Jan in for Koscielny. He might not be as good as Koscielny, but the partnership of Toby & Jan is better than Toby & Koscielny would be.
