Every accusation has to be taken seriously and investigated . if you do not hear or see wrongdoings you should be allowed to say so in todays climate if you say "I did not hear it I did not see it " you will be lambasted as being in denial .
Its like being in Mccarthy era where unless you say "I saw it I heard it " you are racist .
I will not bow to these people and deny the truth to suit this overpowering agenda of there is so much racism .
When in my life I rarely very rarely come across it .
I refuse to say I come across it and see it all the time just so as to fall in line with the current climate .

That's what the club did.

I think the problem is not that Rudiger said he thought he heard racist noises, that was investigated by the club and the police and it was found that he was mistaken, that's all fine and proper but the problem now is that the One show has made these accusations all over again with no reference to the facts and the conclusions drawn by the investigation and that is completely unacceptable.

I don't think they've made accusations, I think they've just been lazy in their research and brought up whatever the last incident involving racism at a football match was. What they have done is paint the club in a bad light, without even mentioning them not even bringing up the *fact* that Chelsea fans were arrested for racially abusing Son.

It was not found he was mistaken.
That's how I read it but either way there was no sign of it when they investigated so we have to assume he was mistaken, that would be the normal course of events. The point about the one show stands though, they cannot build a factual report around something that isn't fact.

What a poorly thought out video. The Y word debate will continue with people on both sides but misframing the points is never helpful.

Latest footage of their fans annoys me for more than just the obvious. Footage is for a BBC documentary, so why wasn't any of it used when the One Show did it's piece? I mean softballing Baddiel I'm used to, no one will ever take him to task for the shit he has done to directly feed into us being Jewish or talk about how he blacked up and was directly connected to the abuse Jason Lee got, but Chelsea? Why soft ball on the One Show if you are literally making a documentary about abuse and anti semitism that heavily features their bloody fans

It was not found he was mistaken.

Well in practice it pretty much was. All the CCTV on modern stadium, every cell phone camera, stewards, other players, refs etc. and it comes to absolutely nothing. By presumption of innocence one can't claim there were monkey noises on the stands.

This Baddiel line of reasoning is the same as believing that Racism in the US is down to black people using the N word.

It was not found he was mistaken.

Well I can claim Rudiger made gassing noises towards audience and in same way it probably can't be found out either that he didn't. But to same extent it can be found out to be highly unlikely he did (no footage of any sort, no one else on the field heard it, stewards didn't hear it, crowd didn't hear it etc.). By presumption of innocence he can't be held guilty and same applies to the crowd that day.

No idea what you're talking about.

Antonio Rudiger says "racism has won" after he was booed by a section of Tottenham supporters during Chelsea's 2-1 victory over their London rivals at the weekend.

"Racism has won," he told Sky in Germany. "The offenders can always come back to the stadium, which shows that these people have won.

"It doesn't have to be me, it can be anyone else. They never get punished and in the end, I am the scapegoat.
"I won't give up, I'll never stop raising my voice. I'll always raise my voice, but in relation to this, I am alone.

He was obviously getting booed because he made such a meal of Sons kick. If he genuinely thinks the entire away end was simultaneously booing him every time he was on the ball because he made allegations of racism he needs his head examining. You have to tread carefully because of the subject matter but it doesn't just give him carte blanche to say shit like this. "Racism has won"? Ffs.

He is such a twat. He is tarnishing the club yet again and because the subject is a very sensitive subject no one can respond to it without being tarnished a racist
