I miss his humanity. The article in The Guardian reminded me of how well known he was for treating everyone at Tottenham with the same level of respect. There’s something profoundly romantic about Pochettino’s outlook on the intertwining of football and life. It’s going to hurt like a bastard if he goes anywhere in the Premier League. This has to be one of the weirdest, most unsatisfying seasons I can remember for a host of unpleasant reasons

That was the big thing for me. First three years, I loved how he created an atmosphere of respect around he club and made our players believe. Something changed though. I think it was the need to invest in the team and the constant pressure from fans and pundits from not winning a trophy. His demeanor changed, we all knew it was true (the need to invest) and he couldn't lie about it but the risk was his message to the players became: you're not good enough yet. Belief is crucial to being able to express yourself on the pitch and unfortunately some of his comments fueled a negative vibe.

Case in point the champions league. When Klopp lost the final first time his message was: no matter, I believe in these players, our journey doesn't end here. For Poch, his message was: this is as good as it gets unless I overhaul the squad. He says himself, he couldn't get over it for months.

I'm not sure what else he could have done but with results going like they did, and that constant drip feed of belief shaking messages, I wasn't surprised when the players struggled this season. He wears his heart on his sleeve. It's his superpower and his kryptonite.

Gutted he has gone. The start of the season was like a slow motion car crash with the end result inevitable. None of this changed my belief in Poch, best manager of my lifetime and he will become one of the games legends. Next club to employ him will fly.

He's a brilliant coach and he will always have a special place for most Spurs fans. I feel optimistic again and the pause in the season has felt like the opportunity to close one door and open a new one. Hopefully now Jose and his coaching team will have the opportunity to instil their philosophy into the players and we can get a glimpse of where we are going next season.

I loved being a spurs fan when he was in charge.

I just want him back. Hooefully in a few years when Jose has worn out his welcome, there could be a reunion and Poch can finish the job he started

Fixed for you to make it a little more positive.

Want to agree and winner. That's so important. In addition players like Sanchez, Lamella, Dier, Kane, Davies, winks, Toby, Lloris, and Dele are getting a chance to give their bodies a rest from either pretty serious injury, overplaying for the last 3 years, or both.

Dier, Davies and Lamella in particular - great contributors when fully fit...can you imagine them all back at the peak of their powers? Hopefully it'll be like three new signings. COYS!

i wouldn’t count on Lamela being fit for too long especially with no pre season to speak of. I predict 2 weeks and then he’ll be out with a calf injury.

plus getting to see more of our recent signings is an exciting prospect too.

We have so many players who will seem like new signings ... Kane, Son, Sissoko ... all back from long term injuries ... Bergwijn, Lo Celsp and Ndombele ... who are all still relatively new signings ... not forgetting the breakthrough Tanganga.

It’s funny how football changes so quickly. If someone told me just over a year ago that Poch Wouldn’t be our manager by 2020 and would be managing Newcastle Instead I would have laughed in their face.

They have two world class wide players though and a hardworking false 9 that creates so many chances and goals. I can't see Salah or Mane dropping in standards for quite a few seasons and they have ready made replacements in CM who are all extremely fit and athletic. I think their squad especially the defence is younger than when we the back 4 in their prime.

Salah got injured last season and pretty sure got another injury this season. Mane also had his injuries as well. Firmino too. Also Firmino is almost 29.

Not saying they will drop performance but the way they press is very demanding and it gives a lot of injuries after a certain period.

Klopp will probably sign Havertz, Werner and Thuram to keep them the top club .

Levy would wait all summer to sign Nkoudou and pull out of signing Grealish. We'll know in the next couple of years if they make the same mistakes we made regarding development of squad and progression

I am not prepared for a decade of Liverpool dominance.

In reality one of the best their sources saying they are unlikely to do any major deals this summer and even Werner could wait another summer and those who will leave will be replaced by academy players.

You are really overreacting.

In the last 3 seasons Salah has played 36, 38 and 26 of Liverpool's league games. Almost all of them.
