He’d be a fool to go there.

That club is a mess from top to bottom. He should take 6 months off, recharge his batteries and take over Bayern or Utd in the summer.

Juventus and Real Madrid jobs may well be available too, possibly even Man City.

He could pretty much have any job in football, and yet many pundits think he should go to the Arsenal, yeah that works.......................

Personally, as great a manager as he is, I don’t think they’d even approach him. Right now the atmosphere there is toxic. The stadium was half empty last night, fans walking out with fifteen to go... out cheered by a team that had no fans there... the Arse board need stability and cohesion and bringing in the guy who managed the enemy for six years isn’t going to bring them together. I’d imagine they will sit with Ljungberg for a few games while they go for Allegri or Ancelloti or the like,

I would be shocked if Poch went to Arsenal, he always speaks of his loyalty to Espanyol as why he’d never take the Barca job and he seems to be a man driven by his principles and scruples

Bigger and better jobs will be available to him soon

Christ, its like most of you didn't pay the remotest attention to the man this last half decade.

He won't even contemplate that. And if you think Levy didn't put a clause in his severance agreement that prevented him from joining another, then you're naive.

Edit: apologies, I abandoned this post abruptly as the fire alarm went off!

Fuck me we’ve sacked him and we’re still worrying about him taking other jobs. It’s like we’ve wound the clocks back 12 months

As a manager he has literally won fuck all. He can't handle big egos. So I don't think he can go anywhere. His best bet is to take over an underachieving big club where the expectations are lower than they had been historically. Man Utd and Arsenal are the two clubs that would fit best for him. It all depends if he wants to try and hold out for Utd.

One thing is for certain. All this talk about him never managing Barca or Arsenal is bollocks. Poch isn't a Spurs man. Spurs were a project to him, not an emotional connection.

That's far more likely. Poch doesn't give a toss about Spurs though. I don't know why fans never learn their lessons when it comes to manager/player loyalty. There are a very few managers or players who truly give a shit about the club they play for.

It's like you split up with your bird, knowing she isn't quite the one, but she's nice, loyal and you've had some great times but you need to let her go.

That does not mean you'd want to see her with your dickhead of a neighbour lol.

Bollocks, he will be top, or near the top of any shortlist for any top manger vacancy in Europe. He would be an idiot to take the job at Arsenal, not out of any loyalty bullshit, just for the fact he could have a much better job if he waits a bit. I also think he needs a break and will take a bit of time to get his mojo back.

Real Madrid wanted him before they hired Zidane.
