So who's going to be in charge for the West Ham game?

I'll give it a go if no one else is interested...

Harry Redknapp on sky sports saying we should have been better. Poch couldn’t get it out of the players anymore.

He won’t say a bad word about us.

He’s convinced we’ve got someone lined up and won’t of sacked Poch without somebody coming in ASAP. Said we spoke to ancelotti and Rodgers before we sacked him ?

ancelotti would be a top choice.

Inevitable, but still a damn shame it had to end like this. Thanks, Poch.

The only consolation is that we will be the club that finally kills Mourinho's reputation and career once and for all. Even Sky won't want him once we're done.

There is no loyalty in football
This type of logic always reminds me of a quote from the moneyball film,
"If we play like the yankees in here, we'll lose to the yankees out there"

If we don't do things differently. We'll lose because we have less money than everyone else. Back on the manager merry go round we go, and back down to consistently being 6th. Great.

Mourinho and Levy combination is a no no, his teams implode even when he gets supported. Chairman like Levy and getting option B or C most of the time instead of Matić and rest would cause huge problems for him. I wish we would take a risk with Bjelica (Dinamo Zagreb) and he would easily convince Olmo to come here but I think that club will go for some safer option. Too many good coaches won't want to leave before summer.

Agree that something had to change, but it’s a weird time to do it now, especially if we’ve not got someone lined up.

Thanks Poch. Gutted at this decision as felt that Spurs rediscovered their soul under him and it was fun to go every week again.
A very hard act for the new manager to follow as Poch was rightly loved. If things go wrong now it could get poisonous.......

Don't quite know how to react to this.
Love what Poch made us but our football has been bad for some time now (and pretty much always against bus Parkers)

But I will be livid if there is an immediate increase in running and effort from our players now as it will show that they have not been playing for Poch (the man that made most of them) and we could have another Chelsea dressing room situation on our hands where they just down tools when the going gets tough.

Also think a lot of these players'reputation has surpassed their ability and they may be in for a rude awakening if they think a change of manager will mean an improvement in their position.

Anyway good luck Poch with whatever you do in the rest of your career and thanks for the memories and for the first time as a Spurs fan going into games week in week out without fear and trepidation. (y)

Hopefully Levy is balls deep into announcing a replacement.

Agree apart from your last statement. It has been awful going to matches recently.

Funny really, we've not been competitive for quite some time now, but the media folk still seem to think that we can't do better than bottom half right now o_O

Fuck Mourinho. Fucking boring football. See what ManU fans thought about it. Chelsea fans love him for what he delivered but wanted him gone in the end. He might win us a trophy but he'll destroy us and end up leaving us with a load of shit players and broken dressing room after wasting £100m plus. Yeah Poch might have lost the dressing room and players need to leave but if you think our squad is fucked just wait and see what that prick does it.
Some of our players more than deserve a shellacking, to be honest.

Sorry but I will never listen to anything Lineker's got to say about us anymore. Always looking to stick the boot in on Spurs. Solely because we almost hijacked his beloved fairytale. Like most Leicester fans, he's never gotten over it.

Sorry but thats crap. He always has great things to say about Spurs. Of course he wanted Leicester to win that year, its his boyhood club and where he started out. I'm with Lineker on this.
