I criticize Levy for his Transfer Window bollocks and am not a fan of his but lets be fair and give credit where it is due. Turning the stadium into a hospital to help with the current pandemic is a fantastic gesture and one worthy of respect. There are plenty of things he does that deserve shit thrown at him but this is not one of them and I hope other teams follow this example since we need to all pull together to beat this.

Fucking hell, the state of some of you.

I'll be fucking glad if they put this season out of its misery. Maybe some of you can try and remember you support the football club and fucking give up whining for a month or two.

I am not as worried about asking Poch to accept reduced payments, at least we are going after the higher earners in club, as we should have done at the start.

However I am way more worried how this story has hit the papers, cannot see Poch would have released it, and assuming he hasn't, who and why has someone at the club released it ?
If Poch says yes, great, if he doesn't why publicly try and shame him, which is all this seems to be attempting to set up. Should have been kept behind closed doors

No player at Spurs, neither Jose or Poch has decided to take a reduction. So far the only player who seems to have a heart is Toby.

If your boss said "right now you're staying off work for several weeks, but once you're back you'll be working extra hours and your summer holiday is cancelled to make up for it. By the way, give me back 30% of your wages", you'd tell him to get fucked. There is going to need to be a wage cut. But it's got to be part of the same package that sees games called off. The players just aren't going to give up their money if they end up doing the same amount of work, especially if it means that simultaneously they give away their leverage against being made to turn up in conditions they find unsafe. Until we reach that stage, deferrals are what makes sense.

Agents, accountancy firm staff, random employees, milkmen, could be anyone. These things don't exist in a vacuum between two people. Journos usually have one or two regulars at clubs they go to for stuff in exchange for a few bits and bobs. We could have done it on purpose to highlight we are paying him millions still and are trying to push back on millionaires or to put pressure on him to take it, Poch's team could have leaked it to make him seem magnanimous if he says yes, or his agent wants him in the papers to keep his name out there (and now ready to discuss contracts!) for potential new jobs, maybe a potential new project funded by money from i dunno, Saudi Arabia?

I don’t disagree with you but the lack of help by players and managers show such little regard for the fan and ‘common man’.

Do we support a business or a football team around here? Its really hard to keep up.

The fuck does that even mean? I understand that the words kind of all together sort of look like they are making a point but they dont. Are you suggesting we should pay sacked managers forever in perpetuity during a pandemic? Or possibly that people in charge of businesses get too tied up in all that 'paying for things' nonsense?

Its when people cry about shit like this that makes it difficult to have a proper debate when it comes to something actually worth debating about Levy.

Don’t feed him, he’s merely grasping at another tenuous straw to throw at the camel that is his hatred of Levy.
