Whoever we get, can we just get the ball upfield quicker and just stop all this playing across our own box ....please ..

This what I asked for on Tuesday before Jose was named new coach, I think so far he has answered my plea , have to see how we get on at home when someone "parks the bus."

As fans you just feel so much confidence in the team knowing Jose is in charge, as much as I loved him I just never had that same 100% bulletproof confidence in us under poch and I’m sure the players will have even the same.

jose has been there and done it and his tactics are next levels and the players feel that.

I dunno there was one point in Poch's reign we were turning over other teams for fun at least once a week and had an impervious defense.

It is interesting MP was flat out sacked. There supposedly was no mutual consent fudge.
I'm not sure what that actually means - was his contract paid off in full, or was all that flirting with Man Utd held against him? He surely was in breach of contract by publicly saying he wouldn't be here this season more than once.

So MP presumably hasn't signed a confidentiality clause - this could all go in his next book, which will also be interesting and very damaging to both him and the club. I don't feel confident that he is going to do the right thing here.

Isn't he on "gardening leave" I don't think he is free to join anyone without them negotiating with Levy

Was just reading the BBC comments for a laugh under the Le Arse v Southampton match today and so many of the scum want Poch in. That will be the biggest fucking nightmare ever. After what Poch was saying about never managing Barca because of Espanyol, he will surely never go to Le Arse. Right?!

He'll have far more attractive offers. Bayern Munich or Dortmund right now. United or Madrid maybe if he wants to wait until the end of the season. Would anyone in their right mind take on turning Arsenal back into a CL club over those 'projects'?

The comparison to those two Spanish clubs was in relation to asking about managing Arsenal. There's a video of it from 2/3 years ago doing the rounds on twitter.

He wont join them.

This thread is about Poch so just want to say thanks for all his efforts and truly wishing him the best for his next role. We will not be where we are without him so I am grateful for that and sad about how it ended. The only way for all of us is to move forward after our breakup like any other relationship.

He has way too much respect for us, despite things going sour here with Levy he just won't disrespect our club and our fans like that.

I have no idea why the media and Arsenal fans are whipping themselves into a frenzy about Poch going to them, it's utter delusional talk especially when there are far more attractive options out there.

If I was him I'd go to Dortmund to try win the Bundesliga as I think he'd have an exciting team to work with although it'll depend on working with sporting directors.

Failing that, PSG really like him so that would be a great chance for him to get some titles under his belt.

United has a lot of risk attached, if he burns there his reputation could be severley damaged. Obviously if he's a success, he'll put himself in the elite.

I'm pretty sure I read that part of the severance agreement was that Poch couldn't manage in the PL until next season?

The only way I don't see him go to Utd is if Madrid come in for him. Won't turn that down or a return to Spain.
