Seems absolutely inevitable now, but at least it should keep United unsettled until the end of the season.

Can't wait to hear him talk about how difficult it is to manage Utd during the summer- Pogba and all.

I'm looking forward to see Pochettino in another job. My hypothesis is that 16/17-season will be his best accomplishment in his career. Maybe I'm wrong - just one way to find out.

It all ties into Redknapp's story of Poch being unsettled the moment Mourinho got sacked and Utd approached him, which we refused and made that big drama of "no Utd related questions" for every following press conference.

Form took a dip since that Christmas and explains his mood during press conferences from then onwards. Also explains his comments on leaving if we were to have won the CL.

Coincidence or reality?

Look I love Poche, I started watching Spurs (from the US) in Bales second to last season here so Poche is a big part of my fandom. With that said I don't think Man U is the dream spot for him. That place has been a shit show and he expects everyone to buy in 100%, do you think Pogba is going to do that? Also it takes his players forever to be match fit/bed into his squads, unfortunately at Man U you don't get that time to build, you have to compete immediately with a lot of turnover every year there. They will always buy a big name but what will their fans do when he doesn't play them for 5 months and only gives vague answers through all the pressers on why. Look I wish Poche the best on wherever he goes as long as it isn't in the Prem. This isn't because I feel like he would be traitor or anything like that just simply because he would then become the competition for top 4 as that seems to get harder every year with better and better teams like Sheffield/Wolves

There always seems to be a lot of United smoke, but he's already said no twice. Why would he want another project? Why wouldn't he want a win now team, if Tuchel goes in the summer and PSG come calling, he will go there, use Neymar money to strengthen.

Pochettino and Utd seem like a fairly good fit. I would imagine there is an appetite for a rebuilding project among the Utd fans and enough goodwill to at least give him a season to a season and a half to get them performing well consistently. However whether he can get them back to winning leagues in the medium term is more doubtful. They no longer have the massive advantage over other clubs they once enjoyed both on and off the pitch. Top 4 playing fast, exciting football must now be considered a successful season for them. If he is able to rejuvenate them like he did us that would be a success I think.

Biesla is like his father, so I'm sure he saw him.

But Jesus and Toni are there too. Its totally to line them up to take over Man U in the summer. They just signed Bruno Fernandez for goodness sake. Ever since he had that lunch with Fergie, this has been nailed on.

He should have been our next Nicholson. Instead he's going to be their next Busby.

We're still just their feeder club.

Is this a joke I can't tell? He should have been our next Nicholson but we sacked him at the first opportunity.

This is a true high school moment, where you've just broken up with your GF and now a couple months later one of your friends has decided to make a move. I won't be fazed if Man United takes our sloppy seconds.

Jokes aside, I really do wish him the best for his next tenure, whether that be abroad or here in the PL. If he gets united ticking and wins some trophies I will be happy for him I just genuinely hope he doesn't fail if he takes the job, as it will damage his reputation as it stands now.

Logically speaking going to PSG or Bayern or Juve or Madrid would be ideal for him as his stock is really high at the moment, but not all of those teams will come calling and if United offer him a juicy deal which they will, I'm sure he will take the job. Don't rule out City either, they may need to replace Pep soon too.

We sacked him but his whole demeanor was that of someone whose heart was no longer in it. Maybe that was because he didn't feel properly backed. But to say he was sacked at the first opportunity doesn't tell the full story.

It’ll be interesting to see what he does there but I’m not gonna wish for him to bring back Utd dominance at our expense just because he was good for us.
