Poch had been amazing for us and tbh I think we were a great fit for him. In my view he wanted the sack / leave the moment we lost to Liverpool.

therefore in terms of money he wanted his slice just like Jose and the players do.

Beginning to wonder about some of the folk who post in here about Spurs. Seems like a bunch of people who don't support this club at all and much prefer to constantly wind shit up every time something happens, they post with a negative twist and it wears, it wears to the point where I dread opening up a thread to see it turned into some negative shit take on something that really doesn't need it at all.

Yep. I’m looking forward to the day Poch gets a job at another club (as long as it’s abroad) and we can all discuss how he’s getting on rather than reading in this particular thread how he’s better than Mourinho If we fail to win a game.

Do we support a business or a football team around here? Its really hard to keep up.
Or you could say

Am I running a business round here or raising a family? It's hard to keep up.

You can make these binary statements about almost anything. Within almost all modern cultures, for better or worse, the answer to the above is always both.

Supporting a team is always about investment whether that be time, money or emotions.

Even a Sunday league team falls apart if no one is taking subs and managing the books.

Asking him to take a deferral seems entirely fair to me. I don't see the issue with it.

No player at Spurs, neither Jose or Poch has decided to take a reduction. So far the only player who seems to have a heart is Toby.

What about the playerstogether initiative? We don’t really know whats going on in the background that isn't making the news. Look at what Danny Rose has been doing for a start (I'm sure you just excluded him as he's at Newcastle which is fair enough).

Tbf Rose’ gesture was very kind.

Why is this even a story? I mean literally who cares?

Why would fans give a shit about the ins and outs of payment arrangements with former employees of the club, let alone get mad at Levy for some fucking insane invented reason?

If it did end up at Newcastle, and it's a big if, he'll drastically go down in my estimation and the decision to do so would verge on hypocrisy. He always said about 'how winning with Spurs would be different' etc. maybe implying it was the right way to do things. Doing so now with Newcastle would be no different to Chelsea or City.

Though he has shilled for Qatar before so.

Even if he went it'll be years before they win anything. Took city 3 years to buy a trophy and 4 years for the league. And a few managers. If he goes there he'll probably get sacked before they achieve all that much. But the payout will be sick.
