Chelsea go 1-0 up after 32 seconds.

We are shit the next 89 mins but somehow Hugo keeps their 38 shots out.

In the 80th minute, Skipp comes on for Dele, everyone loses their shit.

90th min, Skipp scores a 30 yard worldie.

2 mins extra time.

In the 94th minute Lucas finally breaks free from his marker and puts one in through Kepas legs.

Scenes.

The lack of personnel and massive schedule disadvantage makes it hard to see anything but an hour and a half of torture.

Why the negativity mate your normally Mr positivity has someone's stolen @Gb160
Its our lack of goal threat mate, draw at best I think, really think we're fucked now with both Sonny and Kane out...shame really as the season could've ended on a high after the disastrous start.
I'm as optimistic as the next next bloke but this is just realism kicking in.

Classic Chelsea Spurs game this, didn't we once play them on a Saturday lunch time after a Uefa cup game on a Thursday or am I dreaming?

They look like shit, we don't look much better but they will turn up and play like Barcelona, Willian will put in his 2nd performance of the season before taking the rest of the season off.

you just know Willian and probably Giroud will score.

I think, looking at the injuries both teams have that we have the better footballers on display 11v11 but they have the better finishers and more ability to hold the ball up. If we can just try and control the game in the middle and create a few chances for Bergwijn/Dele/Moura and not give up any fucking stupid mistakes (near impossible for us) then we'll have a chance. I'm in the camp of feeling that it's more important not to lose than to win.

Would take a draw right now with our injury problems. Keeps us a point behind them still with a few months left of the season yet.

I have to agree good a manager as Jose is only Jesus could perform the miracle required now, I can't see beyond a hiding to be honest but would take a draw all things considered.

funnily enough i'd much rather be coming into this game with zero chance, a fuk ton of injuries, playing like shit, etc, etc. It's when we're the favourites that we inevitably shit the bed.

Lo Celso seems able to shoot well from outside the box and create as does Bergwijn actually but I do still see your point - any team is going to miss their two highest scoring players...
Problem is our hold up play is so poor that by the time we get into a postion to shoot teams are already set to defend

for me i'd stick alli up top , lo celso behind. Luca on the right , stevie on the left and have 2 in the middle of winks and ndombele.

One of the players recorded Mourinho's dressing room pre-match talk on wednesday. Here is the transcript:

".....so remember, let them do whatever they want for the first hour. Don't bother to press high or close down their space in our half. Just make sure that you block their shots and, if you don't, Hugo will bail us out. We won't have the ball very often, but when we get it they'll press hard. So just kick it long for the fast lads to chase and that will give us a breather before they come at us again.

With any luck, it will still be 0-0 after about an hour and I'll probably make a change or two. When I do, you can start to pass to each other and move into space, that kind of thing. You'll have to put pressure on the ball then because we should have more possession and we'll be playing higher up the pitch.

Okay, got it? Good. Let's go"

I'm expecting more of the same against Chelsea.

That’s my fear as well, chuck in Alonso as well who always seem to do well against us.
That’s why I think Tanganga has to start at RB.

yea, i’d go tanganga instead of serge.

remember when mourinho said he could solve the defensive issues but it would be to the detremwnt of our attack? seeing as we don’t have much of an attack at the moment, i think he should tighten us up at the back.
