Five in defence and one of the slowest strikers in the game still managed to run in behind. Have to change the shape and plan, we’re already losing the game so better to go and press the opposition higher and allow the team a bit of freedom, they’re stifled by these outdated tactics from Jose who is hopefully gone by the summer.

5 at the back is just inviting pressure and our full backs aren't good enough going forward. There needs to be more balance, we need to give Chelsea something to worry about.

Sure, Kane and Son are huge losses, but most of the rest of the squad is fit. Some teams in the league with far less talented individuals still manage to play well as a team. We look utterly clueless.

Right, well saying we’ve matched up to Chelsea’s formation isn’t true. They’re playing more like our old 3-4-2-1 system. We are playing 5-4-1.. We could match their system and win it. Lo Celso and Moura aren’t really tracking back their wing backs, so all it’s doing is pushing our wing backs further back.. we could keep the same personnel, but tweak it a bit. Sanchez needs to be in the middle for his recovery pace for a start.

I'm really not convinced by mourinho at all, most the games we have won we have been out played in and got lucky. Think it's a massive mistake by him now having parrott at least on the bench, why the fuck would you put 5 midfielders on the bench. Skipp is only there to hold the drink bottles, he cant play any worse than winks has if he had a blindfold on and his legs tied together

We haven't got the players or balance to out play teams currently.

Which one of our CB is world class or close?
Aurier is amazing and then crap so hot and cold.
Winks is an average CM
Lucas is amazing and then crap so hot and cold
Ndombele has shown very little for his 60m price tag

We need mass changes, it's not the end of the world, we have Kane, Son, Lo Celso. Who can be world class trio in our attack. But boy do we need a DM, Full back and CB. Minimum as well as the obvious back up striker. Also quite excited by Begwijn.

We have quite limited tools right now and with our current squad and injuries it's going to be tough run in.

The stagnation began long before 12 months ago. Great teams continually improve the squad. We felt ours was good enough, and it was, until it all fell apart. Negligence.

Think it was just one mam who thought it was good enough.

Wasn't it that we weren't acting like a top club bringing in the likes of ndombele , lo Celso . instead trying to absolutely take the piss with villa offering coupons for their best player instead of offering a reasonable price and getting in many others apart from grealish that window

If we had done the kinda business we've done in the last 6/7 months 2\3 years ago I doubt wed be challenging Liverpool but I'm confident wed be well clear in 2nd
