A striker who has the ability to start deeper and create as well as be deadly in the box. It's actually a really old position, and the main thing that befuddled the English in that famous 6-3 defeat against Hungary back in the 50s.

I'm left scratching my head on that penalty. Can't work out how it can be a penalty when the player so clearly got the ball. I'll take a look at half time, but maybe the player got clipped from behind?

Yep. And it's typical Champions League isn't it. Madrid didn't really look a threat at all but with the quality out there all it can take is one little chance and you've conceded.

Agree. That Benzema goal brought flashbacks of the Higuain goal at Wembley.

Watching this makes me sad we aren't in the UCL next year. Incredible competition, especially once you reach the knockout rounds where only elite sides are left. Europa League is better than nothing but it doesn't come close to the UCL.
