If the Argentine can work his magic with the Tottenham forward, he may have a very special player at his disposal.

Pochettino was eager to sign both Andros Townsend and Harry Kane in the January transfer window, something that should set the players in good stead if they were worried about their futures at the club.

Rubbish.
Harry dropped players from spurs and blanked then completely only to want them at QPR starting every week.

I'm confused. Why are you talking about Redknapp?

Hope Poch can turn Kane into at least twice the player that he is, but I hasten to add, not the Huddlestone way.

Bodes well, what with the similarities, although Harry Kane being a more handsome boy than Ricky Lambert I expect still greater things from him.

Are you quite mad?!

I thought that this would be a story about lamella! Can't understand it. He's from the same (huge) country as our new manager! Why waste an article talking about someone non argentinian?!

fact? opinion? evidence to back your comment would be good, otherwise your talking rubbish!!
Jenas. Kranjcar. Townsend. Dawson. All out of Harry's ideal squad at spurs, but as QPR aren't of spurs standing then they're all good enough. He'd have had Defoe too given half a chance.

Same could be said of a manager stepping up. Players he wanted at the lower club are no longer necessarily Good enough for the new, better team.
I'm not discounting Harry Kane, I'm dismissing the logic applied by the article.

Dude, go back and read it properly before you embarrass yourself any further...

Read what?
It's a very basic opinion based article.
The writers opinion is that Kane, being a bit of a lump could be the next Ricky Lampbert. It also opines that because Pochettino what'd 'll wanted him and Townsend at Southampton he would want them fit spurs.

There's no facts or useful quantified information. It's 1+1 (not even as clever as 2+2) journalism and could easily still add up to 3.

The article does not refer to Redknapp once, why on earth are you talking about him?

The headline instantly puts whatever site it links to into a spam column for me, alongside Clubcall and all the other click-bait bullshit websites. I could be wrong (i frequently am), but "Can Poch turn this player into blah blah blah".

"This"? And to end a headline with a question mark... :shifty:

It stinks of attention whoring and therefore garners no interest whatsoever, a lesson i learned during the 90's.

Not to dis-credit Kane, he had a great spell at the end of the season and we all enjoyed that. But This article is a bit shallow to me. "Take a name, try to compare it with another name in the same position, a new manager is coming in, yeah, I've written an article".

It's called a comparison.
Of course the b team players at spurs weren't good enough for us but are for QPR. We're a much bigger club with a far superior squad same a half of Real Madrids dregs would get in our first team. There's no comparison.
And although I see the point you're making it's a massive leap from what this article is about. Normally agree with most of your posts but you've lost me mate (n)

I'm simply saying that because he wanted them at Southampton doesn't mean he'll want them at spurs.
