Wouldn’t be totally against signing Wilson. I think he’ll play well when Kane is out of the team and provides another option to play alongside him too. Sure there may be other attractive options available in Europe but all things considered, he knows the league, has shown he can score goals and he will also help meet home grown numbers too.

We are gonna need him when you look at the fixture dates released today. No way the current squad can function through those games with only one striker.
Before the start of the season would be a massive plus too

As frustrated as I am over our lack of 'Audere est facere' from positions of strength I'm not going to be too downbeat if Wilson is the main target.

I can see the sense. Its just a shame we've got ourselves into this position. The competing striker should have been signed some time ago.

He'd do a job for a season or two.

If we look at it from the perspective of needing certain positions filled, Wilson will fulfil it - he’s a actually a very accomplished player in his own right. Given he was scoring good goals from scraps and from low level assists, I feel he’ll truly grow with the spurs players around him. It’s all well and good spending silly money on one individual, but we’re trying to build a solid team - akin to how Sheffield did this last season: its knowledge, trust and belief in the team/squad approach. If he's the one Jose wants then hopefully we'll see some progress this weekend - we're going to need two strikers for the super congested start to the season so it's more important than ever now to get one in before preseason starts next week.

Would be really good to have Wilson and the new RB sorted (following Hojbjerg) before that period of games as we're just too short in those areas at the moment.

So, let's say we sign Aarons, do you think he will help with this?

As long as he's over his knee injuries I'd definitely take him. He's done well in a bottom half team and is a decent goal scorer.

In addition, not having to play every single game should hopefully help him to stay fit. The same applies for Harry Kane...

How's his finishing from distance?

We haven't really seen a penalty box poacher work out here since Defoe.

Yes! I was saying the same to one of my friends that they might just keep each other fit through rotation

He'd make some sense as a homegrown player if he doesn't cost too much and is willing to be a backup. Not great, but he'll do.
